I think Maydorkas,s leadership was derelict it was there, pushing exactly for this result and totally in tune with the puppet masters desire.

As far as the quote? It sounds to me like someone is angry that FEMA wasn’t supplied with side arms and machine guns so they could take out Trump supporters that they considered threats.

As far as using hostility toward FEMA for an excuse, for a week in the Carolina Hills they were nowhere to be found, and when they did arrive, they shut down working relief efforts.

Yeah, that just might make people hostile. As far as flags go, a lot of folks didn't have much to hang them on, and the signs were carried away with the house.

FEMA under fire after official told Florida hurricane relief workers to skip homes with Trump signs
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) supervisor who was fired for instructing subordinates to skip over houses with Trump signs and banners now says that her actions were in accord with agency guidance and were not isolated to her team alone.

The supervisor, Marn’i Washington, was fired by FEMA after outrage erupted that she had instructed disaster relief workers canvassing in Lake Placid, Florida, after Hurricane Milton to "avoid homes advertising Trump."
 
The Daily Wire first reported that government employees told the outlet that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags were bypassed from the end of October and into November due to the "best practices" guidance from Washington. The houses were skipped over by the workers, who wrote messages such as: "Trump sign no entry per leadership," in a government system, per the outlet.

On Saturday, FEMA's administrator on employee misconduct, Deanne Criswell, confirmed to Fox News Digital that Washington had been fired and called her actions "reprehensible" and a clear violation of FEMA’s core values and principles to help people regardless of their political affiliation.

Now that the hatred for us is starting to come out the next issue is what are we going to do about it?

We are in this mess (where the govt actively persecutes/discriminates against us) because when we are in a position to go after these people/policies we don't for the sake of unity. We need a change, go after these people and prosecute them!

If the govt does this in emergency situations like disaster relief, who doesn't believe they will also do it in other situations like Lois Lerner did with her not approving non-profit tax status for conservative organizations?

Denying or delaying social security or medicare outlays to people who are Trump supporters?

Or denying advancement in the civil service or military to Trump supporters?

Or targeting enforcement violations by the EPA on known conservative companies?

lots of opportunities for malfeasance happening.

The only way to really mitigate it is to place people in jail, not just fire them.

FEMA is going to re-write the narrative that this was not discrimination, but for the safety of their officers.  Nothing more scarier than a NC hillbilly with a shotgun on the porch, and a Trump sign in the yard.  /s

LAKE PLACID, Florida — Residents of this small Florida community at the center of a scandal over FEMA relief workers skipping the homes of Trump supporters say they never saw any workers from the federal agency — even after riding out two hurricanes and getting hit by a tornado.
 
But on Wednesday, the Federal Emergency Management Agency was out in full force, going door-to-door to make sure everyone was getting what they needed.

Lake Placid, a community of 2,360 around 85 miles east of Sarasota, received minor damage from hurricanes Milton and Helene, but last month at least one tornado ripped through the area, decimating homes in Tropical Harbor Estates, a 55-and-up mobile home neighborhood.
