Another HUGE vote drop just boosted Kari Lake's chances of winning the Senate seat.

Yavapai County
🔴 Lake: 75.74%
🔵 Gallego: 22.03%
6,695 ballots

She's now only trailing by 36,000

That's 6K votes.  While Maricopa's total will be over 2M.  And only 77% of Maricopa has been counted.  I wish she would win, but it just isn't happening.

House Update 216-204 GOP.   Only need 2 more out 15 remaining seats.

Precent chance now of retaining House?  92.9%

Surely, surely we can eke out two more seats. Aside from Alaska, I don't know what states are outstanding.

Kari Lake needs 51.9% of remaining 718,000 votes.

Lots of votes in the reddest counties left.

Kari has been winning drops from the bluest county.

Heard on my talk-radio station yesterday that in the last census, they OVER COUNTED people in two small Northeastern seats and coincidentally UNDER COUNTED the population in Florida.

Bottom line...Florida was robbed of three Congressional seats and the former were awarded fraudulent  seats.

That doesn’t seem right to me, @DCPatriot. The average Congressional district has a population of around 750,000. Per that report, they undercut Florida by over 2 million.

Since then, he is a creature of the DC parties and has no interest in representing the people of Texas, much less conservatives.

2024 House Results

Last updated: Nov 8, 2024, 8:30 PM

Democrats 207

216 Republicans

Control of the House has yet to be determined, as a number of critical races remain too close to call, leaving lawmakers — and voters — waiting to see which party will hold the majority next year.

The sprint to 218 seats, however, is nearing the final stretch, after a handful of additional races were called in the days following election night.

Republicans had secured 216 seats in the lower chamber as of Friday evening, with Democrats trailing at 207 seats, according to Decision Desk HQ. A total of 12 races have not yet been called: Democrats are leading in five of the contests, while GOP candidates are ahead in the other seven.

Republicans, nonetheless, are wasting no time in claiming victory even as the final tally remains unclear. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has said the House is poised to remain in GOP hands, and he has already launched his bid to retain hold of the gavel.

Democrats, meanwhile, are holding out hope that they could eke out a razor-thin majority. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) said Thursday it “has yet to be decided who will control” the House next year, pointing to ongoing ballot counting in Oregon, Arizona and California.

Moderate Republican Don Bacon projected to win re-election for Nebraska swing seat

Moderate Republican Rep. Don Bacon is projected to survive a close re-election race in Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District.

The Associated Press projected on Friday that Bacon, a retired military general, who ran against Democratic state lawmaker Tony Vargas, won.

The race was one of the most closely watched races of the 2024 election cycle. It was a key win for House GOP leaders fighting to keep the chamber majority...............

Arizona election results delayed as counties experience unexpected problems counting ballots

Races remain uncalled across the state. Rights groups are concerned about deadline for voters to fix ballot errors.

It’s taking far longer than expected in multiple counties across Arizona to count ballots and report election results.

The delay means numerous congressional, statewide, and local races have yet to be called, including a U.S. Senate contest and races that would help determine the balance of power in the U.S. House. Voter advocates are warning that voters won’t have enough time to fix any problems with their ballots if the counting goes on too long.

An updated statewide number of uncounted ballots wasn’t available Friday morning, but as of Thursday night, four of 15 counties — Cochise, Pima, Yavapai, and Yuma — still had more than 25% of their ballots left to count.

Maricopa County, the state’s largest county, still had about 20% uncounted as of Thursday night, including 274,000 mail ballots that had not yet gone through even the first step of verifying the voter signature on the outside of the envelope.

The long, two-page ballot that many counties had in this election was to blame for delays in at least some instances. For example, in Maricopa County and Pima County, it’s taking longer to remove mail ballots from their envelopes and unfold and inspect them.

In other counties, the problems vary. Cochise County is experiencing a mechanical problem with its tabulators that’s causing them to operate slowly, and still had 57% of its ballots to count as of Thursday night. The county was able to count only a few ballots at a time over the last day, though the tabulator is still counting correctly, according to JP Martin, a spokesperson for the Secretary of State’s Office. A technician from the tabulator company arrived Thursday night to help, and the company may need to send a new machine, Martin said.

In both Yavapai and Pinal counties, tabulating polling place results from Election Day took much longer than expected because of unclear voter marks that had to be sorted out before results from the polling place could be reported. Pinal took 24 hours to count just the polling place ballots, and Yavapai took until Friday morning.

“I know people are clamoring for results, but we are doing the best we can here,” Yavapai County Elections Director Laurin Custis said Friday morning....................

Where do you "tabulators" get your data? Just wondering.

I Look at each individual county...  Look at votes casted, votes remaining....  Extrapolate the balance on previous percentages.  It's just a guessitimate, but you'd be surprised, especially in large numbers how closely it guesses.  I have found that it nails it typically + or -5% when you are prognosticating the final 10-25% of outstanding votes

84% est. reporting
Candidates   Party   Votes   Pct.
Ruben Gallego
DEM   1,386,202   49.5%
Kari Lake
GOP   1,353,785   48.4%

2739987 Total Votes thus far
3261889 Theoretical final total with 16% uncounted.

1630947 theor. needed to win.

521902 theor. votes left.

Lake needs to win 53.1% of the remaining vote.  But since a majority of the outstanding votes are left in Maricopa (Phoenix) and Pima (Tucson), the math just isn't favoring her at this point.

I’m sure there are shenanigans being played wherever possible. The number of poll watchers and attorneys the Republicans deployed this cycle had to frustrate the hell out of the D’s. Just try to imagine the scope of that task.

Report: Kamala Harris Blew $20 Million on Election-Eve Concerts with Lady Gaga, Katy Perry in Swing States Where Trump Beat Her

Amid the stunning revelation that Kamala Harris’ unsuccessful presidential campaign ended up $20 million in the red, despite raising $1 billion from donors, a new report has found that the rock concerts that her campaign staged on the night before the election — featuring Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and others — collectively cost around that same amount, up to $20 million.

Democrat Colin Allred Blew $77 Million on Failed Bid to Unseat Ted Cruz

Democrat Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX) spent tens of millions of dollars trying to swipe Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) Senate seat.

The three-term congressman spent a whopping $77.5 million on his failed Senate campaign after raising $80 million, Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings show. In comparison, Cruz — who won the race 53.1 percent to 44.5 percent — raised $86 million and spent $76.9 million.

The Texas Senate race ended up being the most expensive Senate race in the 2024 election cycle, according to data compiled by Open Secrets.

A total of $165.5 million was raised and $153.5 million was spent between both candidates, and that surpassed the second-most expensive Senate race this cycle in Ohio by $38 million. These figures do not include outside spending.

Jacky Rosen defeats GOP challenger Sam Brown in Nevada Senate race

November 9, 2024 7:55 am

Incumbent Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) defeated Republican challenger and army veteran Sam Brown in the Nevada Senate race, ensuring a second term as the state’s junior senator next Congress.

The race was much closer than Rosen would have liked and took days count. The Associated Press called the race for Rosen on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 12:15 a.m. With 96% of the votes counted, Rosen scored 47.8% of the vote, to Brown’s 46.4%.

Brown consistently trailed Rosen in polling and fundraising throughout the cycle. But in their sole debate matchup, he attempted to brandish the Democratic lawmaker as an “elitist.” The gambit failed to help unseat Rosen.
