If you say so. I think there was a surge that year from the pandemic which, rightly or wrongly, spiked interest in the election that year. And Kamala/Biden's performance massively depressed Democratic turnout because they both suck.

There was a surge of illegal mail in ballots injected all over the place, many of them preprinted with votes only for president and no creases in the paper. Can you explain to me how that's possible? I'm all ears.

Kamala Harris Campaign Fell $20 Million in Debt in Final Week

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign fell $20 million in debt during the final week of her campaign, according to several sources.

Christopher Cadelago, the California bureau chief for Politico wrote in a post on X that Harris’s campaign had “ended with at least $20 million in debt,” according to two sources familiar with the situation.

“Harris raised over $1 billion and had $118 million in the bank as of Oct. 16,” Cadelago added in his post.

Where did all of those Trump votes come from in 2020?  Was he rigging it too?

Trump lost in 2020 because just enough people were exhausted with him.  He would be well advised to tamp down on the drama and focus on the mission at hand.  He made a ton of promises during the campaign.  Don’t create more disgruntled employees, leaks, and scandals. 
He also made the insane decision to discourage mail voting in 2020, which was enough to swing the election by itself.  His winning margins are going to be quite narrow when they settle out, and early votes were critical.

There could be a surge of people who don't really care about politics but knew that they really hated Trump. Happened in NH in 2020 as well. And again in 2024, a lot of people voted for Kamala in NH, and still a GOP governor won. More people split their vote than you might think.

From actual voters who showed up and voted for the candidate who was out there WORKING for their votes instead of hiding in the basement as Biden did would be my guess.

I agree.  This campaign finished her career as a serious politician.  And her speaking style might preclude any gigs on MSNBC or The View.

My biggest worry, early on for the '28 race is Shapiro or Moochelle.

Shapiro's advantage over Gov. Greaseball of California is that he, at least so far, hasn't destroyed the state of which he is governor. He also isn't a blithering idiot like Kommiela.
