Glenn Beck
@glennbeck

.@tedcruz tells me Mitch McConnell would rather PUNISH him for refusing to play ball than keep Texas red: “Chuck Schumer has been explicit: I am his number one target in the entire country…McConnell spent ZERO in Texas…If you’re at home frustrated how come so few Republican senators have a backbone and stand up to leadership, the answer is, it’ll cost you $10-40 million.”

Can't wait to get rid of that mean old man whose only real value came with getting GOP judges through the Senate

Mitch McConnell's Republican Senate Caucus is not a democracy.  If Cruz wanted the Old Man's money, he should have played ball.  That's how the world works - he who has the gold makes the rules.

What really needed to happen years ago is a coalition that would tell Cocaine Mitch to either knock it off or get voted out of leadership.
The Republic is lost.

How is this 'news'?

Sounds like something a Democrat would say.

Real conservatives would have passed a balanced Federal budget on time.

So you're saying that Cruz should have thrown his integrity out the window to kiss McConnell's azz????  Perhaps that's how most of the world works, but I prefer keeping my integrity.

Real conservatives would have passed a balanced Federal budget on time.

You realize that it would take 60% of GOP in  the Senate, plus a Republican House and POTUS to even think about it?

That hasn't happened since 1923.

Cruz represents Texas, not Mitch.

McConnell has done more damage to our causes than any democrat.  Your worst enemies are the ones within.

Catfish chides us with:
"You realize that it would take 60% of GOP in  the Senate, plus a Republican House and POTUS to even think about it?"

Point of order:
Isn't passing "a budget" a fiscal matter and thus not subject to filibuster in The Senate?
(I welcome correction)

I'm not the one complaining that Mitch McConnell isn't kicking SuperPAC money his way.  Ted Cruz voted against the Swamp Turtle, and now the Swamp Turtle will get his revenge.

Actions have consequences.  Votes have consequences.  If you are looking to dethrone the king, you best not miss.  Didn't they teach him that at Harvard Law School?

As far as passing a balanced Federal Budget on time, sorry for holding the Boyz In DC accountable for the job they are supposed to be doing.

Individual accountability is another principle the modern GOP has conveniently abandoned.

Votes have consequences. Indeed they do; all those who continued to vote for Mitch were part of the problem!

This isn't the first time Cruz has gone up against Mitch and definitely not the first time Mitch has sided with the DEMS in order to keep a conservative out and to keep RINO's in.  Mitch wasn't exactly pleased when Cruz was seated in the Senate.

On second thought why does Mitch even care? He'll be exiting soon, unless there's $$ in it or some kind of kickback for him.

So I suppose you’d prefer Justice Garland?

Pfffffff!!!

Any competent Senate leader would have filbustered that SCOTUS seat replacement.  I am not giving any credit for the obvious path.

So, let's give McConnell a gold star for that. Perhaps you like Mitch, most see him as one of the worst leaders of the Senate and a huge detriment not only to the GOP but to this country.

Garland wasn't the only star on his record.  Without McConnell, the Supreme Court would be at least 5-4 liberal.

I'm not saying McConnell was the best thing since Reagan - far from it - but he deserves credit for what he did do, as well as criticism for what he failed to do.

With Mitch they're 5-4 liberal... They're just wearing different colored ties.  *****rollingeyes*****
