Megyn Kelly says Harris message ’working’: ’She’s somehow getting through’
by Dominick Mastrangelo - 10/04/24 9:16 AM ET

Pundit Megyn Kelly said she thinks Vice President Kamala Harris is promoting a message that is resonating with voters, particularly on the economy, that could spell defeat for former President Trump in next month’s presidential election.

“They care most about inflation and they’re evenly split now on that issue,” Kelly said during a recent episode of her podcast. “They say there’s a few explanations for it. The first is that Harris’s message on the economy has broken through.”

“Another is that Trump’s attempt to link her to Bidenomics, I mentioned this earlier, has not been as effective as Republicans had hoped,” she added.

Trump’s best issue against Harris, Kelly noted, is immigration saying “he has his largest lead over her there, 51-42. But that’s a five-point drop from where he was over Harris in August.”

Kelly’s comments were first highlighted by Mediate.

“It’s working … it’s working, she’s somehow getting through,” Kelly said, suggesting Trump should participate in the planned appearance on CBS News’s 60 Minutes — which was later scrapped by the GOP nominee’s campaign — in order to counter Harris’s messaging.

WHAT MESSAGE?

That her neighbors liked their lawns?

Every policy she has espoused will only make things worse.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I have no idea where Megyn is coming from. Most of the polling is showing Trump gaining a bit of momentum over the past few weeks. If Wisconsin and Michigan remain in play, the race is Trump's. If Georgia and North Carolina remain in play, the race is Harris's. Unfortunately, all four of these states are toss-ups, so who knows? It is a real nail-biter, which is unfortunate, because this country really needs a decisive election if we are going to dig out of the mess we are in.

Sometimes people can over analyze things.

Trump is going to win BIGLY! He's not going to lose any of his 2020 supporters. He is doing better among, Blacks, Hispanics and younger voters. The only way the Rats win is with a massive vote fraud. The Pubs are doing some things to tighten up election integrity and I think the vote for Trump will be so big the Rats fraud won't be enough.

I think the Pubs take the Senate, but they might lose the House.

The Pubs in the House have done nothing except write strongly worded memos.

What do you think the chances of Trump instigating another deadly riot in Wash D.C. if he loses again like he legitimately did in 2020? Pretty high, right?

Kelly really knows how to put the "Pee" in Pundit.  Her podcasts suck.

Hard to say. Has the FBI gone all DEI? Because if they have, the odds are not so good. It takes some seriously competent infiltrators and agents provocateur to push those optics, especially since people are looking out for them.

Tell me sir, when was the last time before Trump a riot occurred in our nation's capital after a presidential challenger lost?
How about NEVER!!!!!!!! Trump's riot is the first one. He's still lying about losing and defending his thugs who injured over one hundred cops and got people killed.
He killed Ashlii Babbitt just as sure as if he had pulled the trigger himself. She believed his lies. That was her fatal mistake. If there was no rally over a lie about a stolen election, Babbitt wouldn't have been in the CB in front of a violent mob attempting to attack numerous Congress critters.
Face reality...Trump is a criminal.

I don't speak Blithering Idiot, so I'm not sure what the Harris message might be.

There was no F'n riot you idiot! And the only person killed was an unarmed white woman who was shot in the head by a black capitol cop for no good reason! Believing government propaganda can be hazardous to your health.

BTW: Which agency do YOU work for are you employed by? @goatprairie

Bull Shit

Shocked after posting the 2020 election thread earlier  that ANY Briefer would believe that it wasn't stolen.  DAMMIT...  we were watching and documenting it that morning in real time!!!!!!

And don't accuse me of being a big Trump supporter, because I've shown otherwise many times.  99% just won't take and beleive the left and MSM narrative around this issue.

Kelly is one of the most naive news Barbies out there.  Her contention that the ecomomy being better is due to fabricated  data that the government later has to revise.

Pretty face, pretty vacant.

He was not there, did not call for violence.

There were known three letter agency actors on the ground who were seen on video urging entering the Capitol. One of them (Ray Epps) spoke with a guy on the Capitol grounds on video, and even though the conversation could not be heard, that person gathered up the single strand of barrier fence (as in one wire or strand of bailing twine) with the paper signs hanging on it and it disappeared. That was the end of the 'outer perimeter' that no one knew was there. It likely would have been honored, flimsy as it was, had it been left in place. You also don't speak to accounts of seven busloads of ANTIFA people who invaded the gathering at the Capital, supposedly wearing their Trump garb on backwards so they would know each other, and may have been responsible for the damage. That doesn't speak to three letter instigators or agitators planted within the crowd.

The Sueaker of the House is responsible, through the Sargent at Arms for the security of the Capitol, and she (Nancy Pelosi) and the Mayor of DC ordered no National Guard, even though Trump had freed them to be present.

In short the incident was egged on to the degree that one of the Capitol Hill cops was running around looking for more flashbangs, smoke and tear gas to shoot point blank into the crowd.

You want to be so busy hating on Trump you blame him for the egregious misdeeds up to and including the murder of Ashley Babbit and the death by crushing (and severe beating with a baton by a Capitol hill cop) of Roseanne Boyland.

At no time did Trump sanction any violence.

As for many of those charged, for walking like tourists between the velvet ropes, there was no violent action nor intent, and many of them passed Capitol Hill Cops holding the door open for them, which isn't trespassing, but implied invitation to enter.

Be fair.

Your TDS is showing.

Here's one of those Trump thugs rotting in jail

71-Year-Old Grandma Convicted on All Charges by DC Jury After Praying in Capitol on Jan. 6
AWashington, D.C., jury convicted Rebecca Lavrenz of Falcon, Colorado, known on social media as the "J6 Praying Grandma," of four federal misdemeanor charges Thursday related to her participation in the Jan. 6, 2021, incursion of the U.S. Capitol.

The 71-year-old faces up to a year in prison and more than $200,000 in fines, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported.

According to federal court documents, Lavrenz's crimes were entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in a restricted area, disorderly conduct in the Capitol Building, and parading, demonstrating or picketing in the Capitol.

Federal prosecutors said in a court filing that cellphone data and video footage showed Lavrenz entered the Capitol at approximately 2:43 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2021, about 90 minutes after the conclusion of then-President Donald Trump's speech on the Ellipse.
She then walked to the Capitol Rotunda and exited the building at approximately 2:53 p.m.

So Lavrenz had been in the Capitol for about 10 minutes. The DOJ did not accuse her of engaging in violence or destroying any property.
