Russia's cost in this particular fight: About US$8 million for the Strela, another $2m to $3m for missiles, and the loss of a trained crew.

Ukraine's cost: About US$3,000

Biden admitted in 1977 NATO expansion would cause Russian “hostile reaction”.

Avoiding the millions of lives that would be unequivocally lost if that notion is put into action is a far better approach.
We need to examine what actions we engage in that takes situations to this dangerous level and stop engaging in them.
We entered into an agreement to not support eastward expansion of NATO in 1991 only to turn around and take action in direct violation of that agreement three years later. AKA, we poked the proverbial bear.
Ukraine was the obvious victim of Putin’s retaliatory expansion.
Russia sucks, so do gators.
I leave the gators in my yard alone and they return the favor.

PS. A discussion of facts pertinent to any subject does not indicate advocacy.

"We entered into an agreement to not support eastward expansion of NATO in 1991"

1. There was no formal treaty/agreement.

2. no "eastward expansion" was about not putting NATO bases in the former East Germany.

3. Since Russia was already in Ukraine since 2014, there was no need for  Putin to escalate to prevent Ukraine in NATO as it was never going to happen as long as there was this territorial impasse.

Sure, sure.

Let’s not taint our Democrat leaders with discussions about the repercussions of bad decisions that put the world in peril.

A diplomats word is one thing, a treaty is quite another. Dont conflate the two.

Otherwise i am glad you agree with my points.

If Ukraine becomes part of Russa again, who gives a shit.  Not our problem.    Let them go.

You keep saying this, but who is going to destroy it?  That notion is not possible.  Not even the USA possesses the ability to destroy Russia.  Russia would launch a nuclear attack before it allowed its nation to be destroyed, and that would end life on this planet as we all know it.

If you were familiar with this young lady's posting history, you'd see that she specifically suggested and endorsed providing nukes to Zellinsky.

On X, it is being reported that the Hungarians are now pissed at the Ukes for destroying a pipeline station in Russia that supplies oil to the Hunks.  Even accused them of of attack on their sovereignty.  Ol' Z's on a roll.
