I have a hard time being polite with people who somehow think Ukraine was/is a danger to Russia. Hello! Look at a map, at how small Ukraine is compared to Russia. Russia has no hobbles other than Ukrainian defenses, and can and has reached to Ukraine's Western border. Ukraine. OTOH, isn't going to be able to reach, e.g. Novosibirsk or Tomsk, let alone Yakutsk, Magadan, or Yelizovo (the latter on the Kamchatka Peninsula). But Western Russia, in which Russia forces are based and staged, fair game. The Kerch Strait bridge and the Rostov-on-Drone area are prime targets.

Vladimir Shklyarov, 39, died after falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building on Saturday.

The fall was said to have been ‘accidental’.

However other claims have emerged that this version of events reported locally is malicious and inaccurate.

Shklyarov was among the world's premier ballet dancers and had starred at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Royal Opera House in London.

Russia says it shot down five of the missiles and damaged the sixth. It added that debris landed in the area of a Russian military facility, but that no casualties or damage beyond a small fire. Fox News Digital confirmed the attack with a U.S. official.

Ukraine did not immediately confirm the use of ATACMS on Tuesday, but officials did announce an attack on a military facility in Russia's Bryansk region, the same region where Moscow says the missiles fell.

The attack came just two days after President Biden approved Ukraine to use American long-range missiles on Russian soil, an escalation that Russian President Putin previously indicated would be an act of war.
