What about a choice between a liberal Republican and a bat-s**t crazy woke Democrat as clueless about economics as old Karl M. himself was?

Sounds like the same thing to me... Any argument will turn out to be about the color and texture of the icing on the cake.

Eight trillion in New debt over four years.  All with his signature on it.  EIGHT TRILLION!
So you read this and believe he also approved this bill in spite of it being vetoed and overridden by an out of control Congress?

Is that being honest or are you not believing the Congressional record?

This is one bill - a bill that a lame duck Trump vetoed after having been in office three years, eleven months, and three days.  But I will gladly spot you the difference.

Eight trillion $7.26 trillion in New debt over four years.  All with his signature on it.  EIGHT TRILLION! $7.26 TRILLION!

Congress has a spending problem. Fix that.

Congress has an appropriation problem.  The Executive Branch has a spending problem.

I answer by reminding you are the one who asked when will Trump stop funding the Dem wishes.  In this instance, it was the wishes of both the Dems and GOP which overrode his veto.

And I applaud him for it.  But it would have been nice to see him do it coming out of the gate instead of waiting until he was heading out the door.

We no longer have a DEM problem or a GOP problem; America has a problem and we are in dire straits.

For this instance, you are willing to overlook  all the rest, and the trend they prove?

HAHAHAHA!

I think not.

In 2000, I voted for Bush.  No way I was going to vote for the Wooden Indian.
In 2004, I voted for Bush.  No way I was going to vote for the douch-iest of limousine liberal dem douchebags.
In 2008, I voted for Obama.  McCain was too flip-floppy on illegal immigration.
In 2012, I voted for Obama.  Mitt Romney has no soul.  He was running against his own healthcare plan.  He thought 47% of Americans were deadbeats, including reitirees and veterans.  Damn vulture capitalist.
In 2016, I voted for Trump.  Hillary Clinton is Josef Stalin in a pantsuit.
In 2020, I voted for Biden.  Trump told the world to inject disinfectant on live TV.  He ran away from Covid rather than running towards it, like first responders and leaders do.
In 2024, I'm leaning towards Harris/Walz, and voting Repub down ballot.

Jan. 2017 - Jan 2019, the GOP had the chance to lower Federal Income Tax rate for earned income, but didn't.  They lowered taxes for corporations.  They also screwed Republicans in Blue States by eliminating the SALT tax deduction.

GOP is an opposition party, not a governing party.  Bush 43 GOP bacame a Big Government party and Private Profit/Socialized Loss party.  GOP needs to return to conservative governing.

What about a choice between a liberal Republican and a bat-s**t crazy woke Democrat as clueless about economics as old Karl M. himself was?

Politics is a competition of ideas  Elections are marketplaces for ideas to be exchanged and compete among each other.

The Republican Party needs to offer American voters a better deal than Dems.  Catering to Globalist billionaires does not accomplish that.  Taking away personal liberties does not accomplish that.  Enslaving Americans with Government Debt does not accomplishment.

The best welfare program is a job.  We need to grow real GDP - excluding Health, Education, and Government - to improve the standard of living for all Americans.  Too many people (urban, rural, poor, blue collar) have been left out and left behind during the past 30 years.

My thoughts exactly. Trump isn't conservative...but he's also not a socialist.

I believe Trump genuinely does love this country unlike the vast majority of today's Democrats.

Maybe not! But it's the best we can do this time for sure!

Which ones? The ones on the left, or the ones on the right?
