Maybe both are true. Biden will resign AT THE CONVENTION and not before.
Biden does not want goofy Kamala (or rather the people who control her) picking her own VP.

Biden is facing even more pressure to quit the 2024 presidential race as a growing number of Democrats now believe he cannot win.
