Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said there are enough votes in the Senate to “suspend the filibuster” and codify Roe v. Wade protections.

If Democrats keep control of the Senate and White House and take back control of the House come November, Warren said there are enough votes to codify Roe v. Wade into law. The filibuster allows Congress to delay or block a vote on legislation by preventing debate on the measure from ending.

“We will suspend the filibuster. We have the votes for that on Roe v. Wade,” Warren said on ABC’s The View.

Warren said if Democrats win control of all three governing entities, protecting abortion rights would be the party’s first priority in 2025.

“The first vote Democrats will take in the Senate, the first substantive vote, will be to make Roe v. Wade law of the land again in America,” she said.

Warren also said Democrats would only need a slim majority to reach 60 votes.

Roe vs Wade wasn't crap.  Can the US Senate overturn a US Supreme Court reversal of a "precedent"?

If America is a nation of "laws", where are the damn laws?  Precedents, Executive Orders, Accords, Rules, Regulations, Policies, Proceedures, etc., are NOT laws authored, debated, amendended, and approved by Congress and signed by the President.

It is the House of Representatives is the body that represents the People, the US Senate represents the States, and President executes laws, but does not write them.

Yes.

You KNOW the leftists are going to do this the next time they have the opportunity to do so.

So... that's why -- if the Republicans regain control of the Senate in 2025 -- OUR SIDE should do what they have to do... and nuke the filibuster to get such things as ironclad border legislation passed while there exists a window to do so (that window may only last 2 years until the midterms).

Other items on a "nuked filibuster agenda":
- eliminate or severely cut back the EPA
- eliminate Dept. of Education
- FBI/CIA reform
- Pass a "Right to Use Energy" law

(I realize I'm dreaming, but if you want to save what's left of the country, there's no other way to get such tasks accomplished)
