What are voters to do when both sides are wrong?

On the political spectrum, I fall into that grey area of conservatie Dem / liberal Repub.  I am a sailor without a ship to sail on.

Dems demagogue their opponents.
Repubs impune trust in election results.

Dems preach "good trouble"
Repubs preach "1776".

Both sides want to infringe upon my freedoms of choice.
Both sides want an over-reaching Government to make some choices for me, on my behalf.
Both sides want to do things that effect me, without asking me first.
Both sides want me to donate to them, but neither side wants to listen to me.

Where is the inspiration and aspiration to have a limited, Constitutional, and representative Government of the People to work towards a more peaceful, prosoperous, and free future for All?

I'm not seeing it.

As a nation, we are devolving into what the Founders feared most - tyranny of the fickle mob.

What am I to do, peacefully, to help steer Our Government back towards the light of the beacon of the city on the hill?

That's a rhetorical question for which I don't have an answer, yet.

You refuse to acknowledge the Founding Fathers' intentions:
1.  Small government
2.  Liberty
3.  Right to LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The Democrat Party is opposed to LIFE which begins at conception.  They promote savage butchery of unborn babies without fathers' approval.  It is a violation of the "RIGHT TO LIFE" of every unique human being, at conception.

My political beliefs were formed from the likes of Milton Friedman, Barry Goldwater, Murray Rothbard, ect. I was a huge Barry Goldwater fan in my younger years. My favorite president is Calvin Coolidge

My first election was for Ronald Reagan in 1984. Was not quite old enough in 1980 to vote for him

I support a strong dollar, limited government in peoples personal lives and businesses, and it would be nice if the federal government would have a budget again

I’m fairly libertarian on social issues but that position has hardened somewhat as of late when I see the sexualization of children promoted by one particular major party


But to answer your question, there are some things in life you can’t do anything about, at least in the short term


Sometimes you just have to sit back and let the chips fall were they may.


Prayer helps. Along with faith.


I do believe that, eventually, the pendulum will swing again. We’re just gonna have to ride it out for a while

My vote is my stamp of approval of a candidate, their professed positions on the issues, and their track record (if any).

I am willing to withhold it, but I wish there was a formal way that voters could reject any and all candidates by voting "None of the Above", resulting in a new slate of candidates to choose from should that option win, mainly because withholding my vote from 'A' is seen as somehow approving (tacitly, at least) of 'B', when in reality I may well think both (or more) options are unacceptable.

It won't happen in my lifetime but I'd like to see the option, if for no other reason than the ability to cast a protest vote.

"Both sides" are not equally wrong.  That trope is endlessly repeated by Democrats who don't have a leg to stand on.
They are pro-abortion, pro-crime and criminal coddling, pro-big government, pro-welfare, pro-10,000,000 illegals pouring through our southern border including tens of thousands of convicted criminals, murderers, rapists, drug traffickers, and communist Chinese agents.

People are faced with crappy decisions many times every day.  They usually go with what sucks least.

I will support the party who supports this country and the Constitution.

It is called patriotism and those opposed to that support wish the destruction of what the Founders built, the best in the world.

It is a no-brainer that Dems wish to destroy us.

If you have children, raise them right. If anyone is going to have a chance of righting this ship it will not be in our lifetimes.

If you don't, and can't have them... you're in the same boat I'm in. And quite frankly the future is bleak.

To watch the fall of the west and be completely hopeless to stop it or even slow it down is the worst feeling in the world.
