Actually, YES, I AM "better off".
Every time this question has been asked in the past by the Pubbies, it's been the same answer.
Example:
In 2020, I had reportable interest income of 1,062.
In 2024, I'm expecting to reel in over $11,000 in interest, courtesy of the U.S. government (treasury bills).
TEN TIMES as much.
Example:
My RR retirement pay is $6,800 higher now, for the entire year, than it was in 2020. And will increase again in 2025.
So... if I were to strictly "vote my pocketbook", how would you expect me to vote?
