We're living the reality of voting for the lesser evil for decades. I did it for decades. The slide has been nonstop to the left and is only accelerating. A realist should realize that. Either change course or get more of the same.

That's right.
(I did too)

“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless.
Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

Deitrich Bonhoeffer
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Right. And endorsing lesser evil is still endorsing evil.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

-Neil Peart-
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Every single GOP presidential vote I cast since GHWB in 1988 was a vote for the lesser of two evils. Those of you who were around here in 2012 know I went kicking and screaming into voting for Romney. I think I waited until about two days before the election before finally giving in.

I quit that behavior somewhere after Dubya II... I voted for that. And that was the wakeup call. Too big to fail... Whoops! On the wrong side of that! Nevermore.

I did NOT vote for McCain't. I did NOT vote for Romulus. No way in hell for either one. And I went in extremely skeptical against Tumpy, the NYC liberal who suddenly sported a red tie. Despite all the hype and messiah bullcrap, I did NOT vote for him either. And I am very happy with that decision.

And I will not vote for him again sommore.

If Trump really wanted my vote, he would start acting like a Conservative.  Same goes for Biden, or anyone else running.

Almost right. 'Acting' is no longer good enough.

Same here @massadvj I would have crawled over a mile of broken glass to vote FOR Donald Trump in 2020 and did vote for him that year. Then they stole the election. THAT pissed me off!

If you voted for GHWB, then you voted for evil.  I voted for Ron Paul, and my conscience is clean because I know I didn't vote for the anti-Reagan 'Mr.Voooo Economics' Democrat-lite establishment putz.

And this right here is why the Republican Party will never ever ever get any better.  Because they don't have to do a damn thing to get your vote.  You offer it up like a two-bit whore, with only a promise of collecting the two bits sometime after the election.
