The US government is spending $1million of American taxpayer money to fund experiments on dangerous bird flu viruses in collaboration with Chinese scientists.

The research involves infecting ducks and geese with different strains of viruses to make them more infectious, and study the viruses' potential to 'jump into mammalian hosts,' according to research documents.

It is being funded through the US Department of Agriculture and collaborating studies will take place at sites in Georgia, Beijing and Edinburgh in Scotland. ...

FWIW, Victoria is Australia's smallest state (ignoring their equivalent of our DC). It's located in southeast Australia, and the one major city (and port) is Melbourne. Across Bass Strait is the island of Tasmania.

I believe the part that none might buy nor sell in following verses was being compared with the vaccination passport and lockdown ideas that were being bandied about, even to the point of some discussing and even rounding up the unvaxxed and putting them in camps (Australia).

Act like something, and there is little doubt that you will be compared to it.

If you look at the actual McCullough post on which I commented, it was his speculation about mass vaccination. Did you not notice or was that an intentional straw man argument?

As to myocarditis, see my long-standing comment about the vast chasm between Anti-Covid-Vaxxers’ claims and the dearth of excess dead bodies. That chasm remains unabridged, even nearly 3 1/2 years after The Vaccine started being administered … which does not at all surprise me.

1. The Mark of the Beast in Revelation is about much more than ability to buy and sell. I could double-check, but I don’t think Oz required anybody to worship syringes or vaccines.

2. Did Oz shut down Amazon and other retailers that do home delivery? If not then buying could be done by unvaxxed Aussies. Also, at least some Aussies could do selling. Did Oz ban WFH? If not then at least some Aussies could continue their jobs. Even in the narrow buying and selling aspect of the Mark of the Beast the supposed analogy has more holes than Swiss cheese.

Some lots had no adverse reactions, others thousands. Oddly enough, the lots with high adverse reactions did not seem to get delivered to hotbeds of progressive activity like the East and West coasts. Make of that what you will, but not all vials were of the same purity and concentration. YMMV, simply because quality control was lax.

The bird flu outbreak in U.S. dairy cows is prompting development of new, next-generation mRNA vaccines — akin to COVID-19 shots — that are being tested in both animals and people.

Next month, the U.S. Agriculture Department is to begin testing a vaccine developed by University of Pennsylvania researchers by giving it to calves. The idea: If vaccinating cows protects dairy workers, that could mean fewer chances for the virus to jump into people and mutate in ways that could spur human-to-human spread.

Meanwhile. the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has been talking to manufacturers about possible mRNA flu vaccines for people that, if needed, could supplement millions of bird flu vaccine doses already in government hands. ...

The cow study will be akin to the first-step testing initially done in smaller animals. The plan is for initially about 10 calves to be vaccinated, half with one dose and half with another. Then their blood will be drawn and examined to look for how much bird flu-fighting antibodies were produced. ...
