Nah - The US election was incidental, with the exception that Tumpy could be made the bagholder, w/ respect to the US... No, the impact was global. That was at best a failed attempt to capture the west for Davos- The power-grab leaving the west under the dominion of a communist authoritarian system based in WHO, a puppet of the UN, under the direct control of Davos and the puppeteers.
All of Western Civ stood on a knife's edge, and all of it nearly fell. If it hadn't been for farmers in the EU, Canadian truckers, western US horse-paste and the like, it would have fallen. As it was, Australia fell, and Eastern Canada and the Eastern US fell, as did most of the EU...
At worst it was but a trial run, with something much worse waiting in the wings.
