Israel-Hamas war: U.S. forces in Middle East attacked for the 74th time since October 17



American military forces stationed in Iraq and Syria have been attacked for the 74th time since October 17, officials say.

The latest incident happened at Patrol Base Shaddadi in Syria. Officials say that no injuries or damage have been reported.

The attacks began as the Israel-Hamas war escalated in mid-October. Iran-backed militant groups have been targeting American bases with a mix of one-way drones and rockets.

38 of the attacks happened to American forces in Syria, while the other 36 have happened in Iraq.

Human Rights Watch concluded Sunday that the Oct. 17 explosion at al-Ahli Arab Hospital “resulted from an apparent rocket-propelled munition, such as those commonly used by Palestinian armed groups, that hit hospital grounds.”

A human rights organization with a long history of anti-Israel statements and behavior has belatedly acknowledged that “evidence points to [a] misfired rocket” by Palestinian terrorists causing a Gaza hospital explosion last month — drawing silence from far-left members of Congress who blamed the Jewish state for the blast.

Human Rights Watch concluded Sunday that the Oct. 17 explosion at al-Ahli Arab Hospital “resulted from an apparent rocket-propelled munition, such as those commonly used by Palestinian armed groups, that hit hospital grounds.”

“While misfires are frequent, further investigation is needed to determine who launched the apparent rocket and whether the laws of war were violated,” the organization said in a report released Sunday.

“Squad” Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) immediately blamed the Israel Defense Forces for the hospital blast, citing death counts shared by the Hamas-controlled Gaza Ministry of Health and demanding a cease-fire.

Nine children — including 3-year-old twins — among 11 hostages freed by Hamas on Monday

Hamas freed 11 more Israeli hostages — nine children and two mothers — Monday, Israel said.

The Israeli military confirmed that the nearly dozen kidnap victims had been handed over to the Red Cross and are back in Israel.

The hostages were expected to be freed in exchange for 33 Palestinian prisoners from Israel.

The newly freed hostages were identified as Sharon Cunio, 33, and her 3-year-old twins, Emma and Yuli; Karina Engel, 51, and her two daughters, Mika, 18, and Yuval, 10; 16-year-old Amit Shani; brother and sister Sahar, 16, and Erez Calderon, 12; and brothers Or, 16, and Yigil Yaakov, 12, the Times of Israel reported.

They will undergo medical assessments, with Israeli soldiers set to escort them until they are finally reunited with their families after being trapped in Gaza for seven weeks, the IDF said.

No, they simply exchanged her while she was still worth something, knowing they wouldn't get anything at all for her in a few days time.  Hamas has no qualms about killing 84-year-old women.

IDF Arabic spokesman Avichay Adraee announced that Hamas transferred the Bibas family, including the children, to another terrorist group.

Hamas kidnapped Jordan and Shiri Bibas with their sons Ariel, 4, and Kfir, ten months, from Kibbutz Nir Oz.

Kfir is the youngest Hamas hostage.

Elon Musk has struck a deal with Israel that will formally limit use of potential Starlink satellite internet terminals in Gaza, the company's minister of communications, Shlomo Karhi, said today.

Palestinians in Gaza have experienced severe telecommunications blackouts since the war began, with the area's largest internet provider citing Israel's bombing campaigns and fuel and electricity embargoes as the reasons. All broadband internet and phone calls in Gaza are routed through Israeli infrastructure.

Thanks to its fast speeds and ease of use, Starlink, owned by Musk's company SpaceX, is widely regarded as some of the most effective satellite internet to deploy to conflict zones.

Musk had initially claimed back in October that Starlink “will support connectivity to internationally recognized aid organizations in Gaza.” But Khari, whose office approves internet licensing in Israel, said at the time that "Israel will use all means at its disposal" to stop that deployment.

Israel receives list of additional Hamas hostages to be released

Israel's government has received a list of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza who are expected to be released on Tuesday under an extended truce deal with the terrorist group, Israel's Army Radio reported, citing the Israeli prime minister's office.

The Axios news website reported the list contained 10 hostages.

There was no immediate comment from the prime minister's office.

It’s hard to believe Hamas. I won’t believe anything until we see proof of life.

So far, Hamas is only giving up hostages which are in relatively good condition. This way they can claim, "see ... we treated them well." The young women and children who have been repeatedly raped, beaten, tortured, and starved, will likely NEVER be handed over. Hamas will claim that they cannot find them or that they never had them.

Like the NAZIs before them, Hamas will attempt to eliminate any and all evidence of atrocities committed against the hostages by killing them and disposing of the bodies. Like the NAZIs, Hamas does not want prisoners on international news describing the sick and sadistic things Hamas did to them.

They will only release hostages who are relatively healthy or dead. The hostages being tortured and abused will never be released except by Israeli forces. Hamas will try to hide and cover up their perverted treatment of prisoners.
