More than 120 truckloads of humanitarian aid and supplies enter Gaza

More than 120 truckloads of supplies and humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip Sunday, according to Egyptian authorities.

The trucks were carrying food, water, cooking gas, fuel, and medical supplies, according to CNN, and were headed to northern Gaza.

They are part of the cease-fire deal negotiated between Israel and Hamas, in which the terror group agreed to release 50 hostages in return for a four-day truce, the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners, and truckloads of supplies.

The aid was delivered through the United Nations and Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Egyptian officials said.

The family of Abigail Mor Edan, a 4-year-old American-Israeli girl who was released by Hamas terrorists on Sunday, released a statement expressing their "gratitude" towards the world leaders who made the young girl's release possible.

Liz Hirsh Naftali and Noa Naftali - Abigail's great aunt and cousin, respectively - issued the statement on Sunday. Edan's mother and father were killed by Hamas terrorists on October 7.

"We hoped and prayed today would come," the statement began. "There are no words to express our relief and gratitude that Abigail is safe and coming home."

The relieved family members issued special thanks to President Biden and Qatari negotiators for securing Abigail's return.

"Thank you to President Biden and his dedicated team; thank you to the Qatari government and other informal actors who are involved in securing Abigail’s release and reuniting other hostages with their loved ones," the statement continued. "Today’s release proves that it’s possible. We can get all hostages back home. We have to keep pushing."

"We will continue to stand with the families of all the hostages still held captive, and we remain committed as ever to securing their safe and swift return," the Naftalis added.

Report: U.S. and Western-Funded Palestinian Schools Celebrated October 7 Massacre

In 2022, the Biden admin pledged $344 million for terror-infested Palestinian agencies. This years the funding is set to rise.

A newly released report by an Israeli education watchdog uncovered that the U.S. and western government-funded Palestinian schools ‘celebrated’ the brutal killing, maiming and raping of hundreds of innocent Israeli in the Hamas’s October 7 massacre.

Palestinian schools, many of them run by the PLO-controlled Palestinian Authority (PA), cheered the Hamas’ terrorist attack that killed more than 1200 Israeli and other nationals—including women, children, and elderly, an investigative report published by IMPACT-se, an Israeli NGO monitors school education, reveals.

“While the civilized world has reacted with horror to the atrocities committed by terrorists on 7 October, who massacred around 1,400 Israelis – mainly civilians – as documented in this report, at least 11 schools in the West Bank which are operated by the PA have openly and publicly celebrated the massacre,” the reported found.

The study concluded “that the next generation of Palestinians are being desensitized to violence and death, to see Jews and Israelis as inhuman creatures, and to perceive their own death in battle as an utmost goal. In light of this, one cannot escape the conclusion that should the status quo of Palestinian education continue, the next atrocity is all but assured.”

These Palestinian schools receive millions of dollars each years from the U.S. and its western allies. President Joe Biden restored the funding for the Palestinians in 2021, reversing a Trump-era decision. In 2022, the Biden administration pledged $344 million for terrorist and jihadist-infested Palestinian agencies. This years the funding is expected to rise again.

Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu said watching the return of hostages released by Hamas throughout the weekend simply "stirs the soul" in a video statement released after speaking with President Biden Sunday.

"There is also an outline that says that it is possible to release an additional ten hostages each day. That would be welcome," said, who also vowed to continue Israel's mission to eradicate the terror group once the cease-fire lifts.

"At the same time, I also told President Biden that at the end of the outline, we will go back to realizing our goals with full force: eliminating Hamas, ensuring that Gaza will not go back to being what it was and, of course, releasing all of our hostages."

Fifty-eight hostages have been released by Hamas since the four-day cease-fire with Israel began Friday morning. The terror group agreed to return 50 hostages taken in its October 7 attack, while Israel agreed to hand over 150 Palestinian prisoners.

Hamas was given the opportunity to extend the cease-fire one day for every 10 additional hostages released.

Among the hostages freed Sunday was 4-year-old Israeli-American Abigail Mor Edan, who was orphaned when her parents were murdered while protecting her on October 7.

"What a joy it is to see her with us, but, on the other hand, how sad it is that she is returning to a reality in which she has no parents," Netanyahu said, explaining that he and Biden discussed her situation on their call.

"She has no parents -- but she has an entire nation that embraces her, and we will take care of all her needs."

Elon Musk will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, along with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and the families of those taken hostage by Hamas.

Herzog's office said that the meeting with the owner of X will be primarily focused on the rise of antisemitism around the world since the war with Hamas began.

"In their meeting, the president will emphasize the need to act to combat rising antisemitism online,” Herzog's office said in a statement.

It comes after Musk had been widely criticized for appearing to endorse an antisemitic conspiracy theory which accuses Jews of facilitating mass migration of minorities to the West.

Musk and X have also been accused by the liberal watchdog group Media Matters for America of promoting neo-Nazi and antisemitic content on the platform, a claim Musk has vehemently denied.

Footage of the transfer of 17 hostages freed from Hamas Sunday appeared to show Israeli-American survivor Abigail Mor Edan.

A child resembling Abigail -- who turned 4-years-old in captivity on Friday -- was seen in the back of a Red Cross Landcruiser as a convoy transferring the hostages as part of a ceasefire deal made its way through a crowd to safety in Israel.

The young girl was orphaned when her parents were gunned down while protecting her from Hamas terrorists on October 7. Abigail was trapped beneath her father's dead and bloodied body, and crawled to a neighbor's house before finally being captured. Her older siblings, 6 and 9, managed to escape.



Abigail is the first American hostage taken by Hamas in their October attack on Israel to be released.

Her tragic story, and her enduring survival, has become a touchpoint for Americans and Israelis alike.

"I have just spoken with President Biden with great emotion, also about little Avigail, of course," Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday. "What a joy it is to see her with us, but, on the other hand, how sad it is that she is returning to a reality in which she has no parents."

Israel-Hamas war: Hostage Elma Avraham remains in critical condition after 'significant neglect'

Israeli doctors say that Elma Avraham, the 84-year-old Israeli hostage who was rushed to a hospital after being released by Hamas on Sunday, remains in critical condition.

In a statement, Soroka Medical Center CEO Dr. Shlomi Codish said that the elderly woman was "significant[ly]" neglected by her Hamas captors.

"[Avraham] is treated in an emergency department after significant medical neglect for the past several weeks while being held by Hamas," Codish said. "She is currently in unstable condition with risk to her life and will be admitted to our intensive care unit and we hope we will able to stabilize it and improve her condition."

"Soroka Medical Center has been at the forefront of treating casualties of the horrible events of October 7th...it is horrific that we now need to continue to care for elderly patients held in underground tunnels for seven weeks with total medical neglect and disregard for their care, which is a miracle," the doctor added.

The Prime Minister of Israel's office has released footage of a kidnapped family arriving back in Israel after being in Hamas captivity for over six weeks.

Shoshan Haran, 67, Adi Shoham, 38, 8-year-old Nave Shoham and 3-year-old Yahel Shoham were all taken captive by Hamas terrorists at the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war.

The four family members were part of the hostage group that were released on Saturday night. They were four of 13 Israelis who were freed at that time.

The video shows Nave and Yahel smiling and playing with toys in the Israeli facility. The beaming family members were also seen holding hands as they were escorted by military personnel.

Maayan Zin embraced 15-year-old daughter Dafna and 8-year-old daughter Ela after the hostage ordeal.

Israeli officials have released a photo of Maayan Zin embracing her 15-year-old daughter Dafna and 8-year-old daughter Ela after the two children were held captive by Hamas.

The girls were released by Hamas on Sunday. Their mother released a statement thanking the family's supporters and expressing happiness that she reunited with her daughters.

"After a long period in which I lived in terrible uncertainty, my daughters are finally with me," Zin's statement read. "These were 51 days in which I lived between despair and hope, between pain and optimism, and I am happy that now I am here with them. The girls are returning to a new and complex situation, and now we have a period of recovery that will take time."

Zin also said that she felt "a joy mixed with sadness."

"Joy for my daughters who are here and sadness for those who have not yet returned," the mother added. "My heart will not be whole again until everyone returns home safely.”

Hamas released 17 more hostages Sunday, including nine children and an 84-year-old mother of five who Israel said is in life-threatening condition.

Sunday’s group of 14 Israeli citizens and three Thai nationals brings the total freed since the four-day ceasefire with Israel began Thursday to 58.

Among those released was the first American citizen to be freed during the cease-fire: a girl who turned 4 years old in captivity and whose parents were murdered by the terror group during its October 7 attack on Israel.

A Russian-Israeli was also freed — the first Israeli adult male to be released during the cease-fire. He was working as a sound engineer at the Tribe of Nova music festival when it was overwhelmed by Hamas.

In return for the hostages, Israel agreed to hand over dozens of Palestinian prisoners and send truckloads of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

The cease-fire deal allowed for Hamas to extend the truce one day for every 10 additional hostages released.

Since they were captured, maybe they'll be of some intel use. Doubtful, but just maybe. My gut instinct though when reading that "...only Warning Shots were Fired by Naval Personnel." Disgusting! Should have been "shoot to kill" orders. Those vermin have absolutely no "protection" under International Law or the Law of Armed Conflict. They should have been destroyed.

CNN is reporting that there are several ongoing issues with the list of hostages set to be released today.
One issue is that there are no mothers on today's list and the agreement stipulated that children would be released with their mothers.
