Hamas claims it will release hostages with foreign passports

A spokesman for Hamas announced Tuesday that it will release some hostages with foreign passports after mediation with "some countries."

Israel has called for the terrorist organization to release all hostages and said that the media should not take Hamas at its word.

Hamas also stated that any claims that the IDF freed Israeli soldier Ori Megidish were incorrect and instead the soldier was taken by another terrorist group. While this claim is unverified, currently, 50 hostages are held captive by terrorists not affiliated with Hamas.

I distinctly remember Israel repeatedly warning North Gaza residents if they wanted to live, then they should leave North Gaza.

I guess I have a hard time understanding why, at some point, the general population doesn't take a stand against Hamas. They have to out number them. Even if the every day Joe believes in "the cause" self preservation would have to kick in at some time. If not allowed to refugee out of the area it would seem that they would at some point say...You (Hamas) are endangering me and mine. If you don't let me go I'll have to "dead" you or die trying.

I'm not so sure @berdie that the general population out numbers them. With the pro-Pali demonstrations and mobs that we've seen recently, it should be a wake up call for a lot of people.

Extremely Heavy Fighting is ongoing across Northern Gaza tonight as Israeli Troops and Tank continue their attempt to Advance South towards Gaza City, there were reports earlier tonight that a number of IDF Soldiers had been Injured and possibly Killed after coming under Anti-Tank Fire near Jabalia.

That would justify a war to remove them

So either the Biden administration is lying about the number to provoke a war

Or we have been getting played & the Biden admin has catastrophically failed to protect Americans abroad
