Ticket splitting is common.  Kari Lake is just a lousy candidate.  If Trump gets involved in the midterms, he had better endorse stronger candidates (and not the biggest suckups) or he’ll have another dem congress.  Georgia and Ohio are the two open senate seats, pending other retirements, with Tillis and Collins facing uphill battles.

There, fixed it.  It is not the job of the federal government to fund States.

Not according to the Constitution.  If it is part of the general welfare, it is legitimate.

Arizonia is the laughingstock of the world right now.

And why is that ?

We voted for Trump.

We picked up seats in both the state senate and state house.

We are a red state.

We are finally getting on track.

If Lake had run anything that even remotely looked like a smart campaign and not been so entitled, she'd be crushing that marxist.

Very likely we lose the house in 2026 based on historical performance.

Maybe we should not wait to get our asses handed to us to start assessing where we could do better.  (like the dems are currently doing)

One of the first acts of the new Congress should be a law denying all federal funds to any state that does not clean up its voter rolls and implement election reforms to avoid these shenanigans, such as voter ID, and mail-in/absentee ballots only for identifiable good causes and an auditable trail from ballots being cast to counted to results being certified.

Clean, reliable elections are so fundamental to this country that a state that cannot act in accordance with the gravity of the situation should not be allowed to draw on common resources while flouting the common interest.

With 500,000 ballots to be counted? Say what? How? (Or do they know where they were printed?)

That's what happens in schools of law these days. Particularly if they are in the NE part of the country.

"With respect to the two words "general welfare," I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators."

Constitutional architect James Madison in a letter to James Robertson

"If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the General Welfare, the Government is no longer a limited one, possessing enumerated powers, but an indefinite one, subject to particular exceptions."

 James Madison, 1792

I'll take his word for it since he was on the scene when the constitution was written.

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Kari Lake lost because she’s Kari Lake.

We spent the last year warning you this ticket splitting would happen. Every poll, the very same polls showing Trump winning, predicted it. This isn’t “suspicious” or a surprise.

She was uniquely capable of losing in AZ.

Does anyone here know a single person who voted for Donald Trump AND Ruben Gallego in Arizona?

Anyone? Even one person?

There's no way Trump won Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Nevada, while the Republican candidates for the Senate and House in those same states lost.

Here’s a quick recap of what just happened in AZ in case you missed it:

- Trump won Arizona by 6 points

- Gallego had 127k more votes than there are registered Democrats in AZ.

- Lake had 200k fewer votes than there are registered Republicans in AZ.

- Gallego received more votes than Kamala Harris did in AZ.

- Lake received 140k fewer votes than Trump did in AZ.

- Uncounted ballots increased days after the deadline.

-Mitch McConnell withheld campaign funds from Lake.

- No GOP members are speaking out about these discrepancies.

Overall, something about this election between Lake and Gallego doesn’t add up. Thoughts? 🤔

The Counties with the lowest rate of counted ballots are predominately Red.  The number of ballots not yet counted is enormous.  There is no way I'd call it for Gallego at this time, but the corrupt media is rolling out the narrative they think will carry the Dem over the line.

I think we may have greatly reduced the ballot stuffing we've seen here over the past 3 cycles, and the slow counting is the new strategy.

And, for the record, I think Lake ran two bad campaigns now.  She did not try to get the rural vote, and we voted for her anyway because Gallego is clearly insane.

Remember the 'hanging chads' years ago n FL?  I think AZ now has them beat.

The 'hanging chads' issue in Florida wasn't an issue at all.  It was 100% created by Florida Democrats hell-bent and determined to stomp all over the 14th Amendment as they have been doing since 1868.  The 'hanging chad' controversy was about denying Bush votes with hanging chads while counting Gore votes with hanging chads.  In other words, they were rewriting rules based on what helped them in each jurisdiction.  If a rule helped them in Volusia but not in Duval, they wanted it applied in Volusia only.  If a rule interpretation helped them in Palm Beach but not in Dade, they wanted to forgo that rule in Dade.

When it came down to it, the Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that their method violated the 14th Amendment.  The bottom line is that there was nothing wrong with punch ballots (which originated in Fulton and Dekalb counties in Georgia in the 60s).  The system worked.  Votes were tabulated accurately (which is a far cry from how they are tabulated now).  There were a lot of voters in Palm Beach County who chose Pat Buchanan over Gore or Bush.  But that wasn't the fault of the ballot.  It was the fault of the voter.

It wasn't the ballot or Florida itself that caused embarrassment.  It was the Democrat Party.  And their greatest success from it has been to install a new electronic version accross the country that is live on the internet making it easy to manipulate while the election is ongoing.

The ones in bold stand out to me.  Republicans aren't standing up and fighting on her behalf.  And there's no way registered Republicans cross over and vote for an insane Democrat.  They'll  choose third party.  They'll leave it blank.  But they won't vote for Gallego.
