I'm well aware the problem is on both sides of the aisle, even in the upper echelons of some State Governments, despite attempts to root that out. It's Swamp State perfidy, with a veneer of 'close but no cigar votes' that will keep it that way as long as that is tolerated.

Folks out here are getting less tolerant, and the heat down south may make for hot tempers in areas where there is plenty of room in remote places for shallow holes, and plenty of coyotes to feed.   

No barrier is impregnable--never has been, all I can say about that is that an acetylene tank makes for an interesting rifle target.

Venezuela Extradites Two Colombians Who Fought for Ukraine to Russia

On August 30, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) announced the arrest of two Colombian nationals accused of participating in combat operations on the side of Ukraine. FSB falsely alleges the accused to be mercenaries, despite them reportedly being members of the International Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo, the individuals were detained in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, and later extradited to Russia.

The sister of one of the detainees reported that they attracted the attention of Venezuelan police due to the Ukrainian military uniforms they had with them. The detainees, Alexander Arte and José Aron Medina, were reportedly on their way home to Colombia with a stopover in Caracas.

Notably, authorities in Colombia, Venezuela, and Russia have not yet commented on the situation. However, if the extradition is confirmed, it would mark the first known instance of foreign citizens who fought on Ukraine’s side being handed over to Russia.  .  .

Russia shelled its own city with Grads.  Seriously.  It is impossible for Ukrainian Grad rockets to travel this far.  There was video posted yesterday showing a 122mm rocket striking a car.

The city of Belgorod and surrounding areas reportedly suffered significant damage to residential buildings and vehicles following an alleged Ukrainian missile attack, according to Russian sources.

According to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, one woman and four men died at the scene before emergency services arrived.

The attack reportedly wounded 37 civilians, including six children. “Seven adults and three children are in serious condition,” the report states. All injured individuals have been taken to medical facilities in Belgorod for treatment.

The attack also reportedly damaged two apartment buildings, two social facilities, two commercial buildings, and nine vehicles.

In the nearby town of Dubovoye, 13 vehicles were reportedly damaged near a shopping center.  .  .
