I wasn't implying that the Kamchatka fire was a Ukrainian attack.  Just pointing out another internal petroleum 'accident' in Russia proper.

And yes, I've played Risk too.  Would you prefer Yakutsk?  I assumed the site was near Vladivostok, but wasn't sure how far.  But definitely on the Kamchatka peninsula.

OK, this one really is from Ukraine.  Another unmanned Cessna-type aircraft loaded with explosives hits a refinery deep in Russia.  The flight distance from Kharkiv to Ufa is over 850 miles.

Apparently the Russians are on a renewed campaign to get pro-Ukrainian sites and channels censored and banned across the web.  They're "report bombing" the outlets to trigger the algorithms, and with no real people left at those tech companies to reverse the censorship (after all the recent layoffs), the AI won't budge on any appeals.

Estonia’s government has engaged in “serious” discussions regarding sending troops to western Ukraine. These forces would assume non-combat, logistical roles to free up Ukrainian soldiers for frontline combat, stated Estonian National Security Advisor Madis Roll.

Roll’s remarks followed statements from the head of Estonia’s Armed Forces, General Martin Herem, who previously said that there were internal military discussions months ago regarding the potential deployment of troops to western Ukraine for roles such as medical services, logistics, or air defense in certain western cities.

Madis Roll emphasized their preference for a NATO-led mission “to show broader combined strength and determination”. However, he left open the possibility of collaborating with a smaller coalition.

“Discussions are ongoing,” Security Advisor said. “We should be looking at all the possibilities. We shouldn’t have our minds restricted as to what we can do.”  .  .  .

Novocheboksarsk (chemical plant) is about 700 miles NE of Ukraine.

The train derailment is fairly close to Ukraine. Besides the fuel burned up instead of feeding the orcs' invasion (or the orcish economy) a significant railway will be out of service for several days, and workers who could be doing something worse will be tied up in clearing and repairing the railway line.

I'm going to speculate that Estonia's "serious" discussions mean that Estonia considers itself to be one of Putin's next targets of he gets some sort of success in Ukraine. IOW, Estonia would be acting preemptively. Such is my speculation, for which plus a Hamilton you could get a coffee and change at your favorite coffee place.

Ukraine has attacked Belbek Air Base two nights in a row. It is relatively close to the front line, and taking out the S-400 system punched a hole in the orcs' SAM network (which hasn't exactly been covering itself with glory). Looks like Ukraine may already be taking advantage of the hole they punched.
