GOP may very well end up with around the exact same size majority that Pelosi wielded these last 2 years. The lesson here is for Republicans to be as relentless in pursuit of Justice as Democrats were in pursuit of tyranny. A few Select Committees would be a good place to start.

It's easy to blame Trump, or Graham, or cheating and they all factor in to a small extent.  BUT it appears the main issue is that our country is WAY more liberal than we think and there are now more of them then there are of us.  Look how the younger folks voted...overwhelmingly for the democrats. Our universities are churning out these brain washed kids.  The older folks who are conservative are dying off.  I don't see how we can possibly overcome this.  Game over....

McCarthy just won the Republican private vote for Speaker 188 - 31. He needs 218 in a full roll-call vote in January to officially win.

Marjorie Taylor Greene came out in support f him.

I'm wondering if they did this to convince Dems to let the Republicans win the uncalled races that they currently lead.  Let's say instead the GOP had chosen MTG or even Trump to be the next Speaker.  How do you think these remaining undecided races would turn out?

The GOP has no intention of being an opposition party to Democrats.  And people wonder why I vote 3rd Party?

Honored to be elected by my colleagues to serve as the House Majority Leader in the 118th Congress.

Rather presumptuous, isn't it?  Especially with all the elections still undecided?  Maybe Scalise knows something we don't.

That dress barely covers, well, what it needs to cover. Uncle Fester looks like he can't wait to get out of that monkey suit. Sorry, Lumpmeister, you have to wear it every day now.

If the dems were to become a party of fashion obsessed tiktokers, that would give me hope, they can do less damage in that capacity.

Nah... Buck up. The nice thing about true Conservatism is that it is eternal. True things are true. Sometimes it takes a while for folks to figure it out. And sometimes they have to learn the hard way. and that is always painful.

Nations are no different.

And that can turn on a dime.

It's a quarter now, due to inflation.
