Report: Magistrate Bruce Reinhart, Who Represented Jeffrey Epstein Personnel, Approved FBI Raid on Mar-A-Lago

Magistrate Bruce Reinhart approved the FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s estate of Mar-A-Lago, a source confirmed to Breitbart News. Reinhart is also reportedly linked to representing convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s employees.



Since 2018, Reinhart has been a Florida federal magistrate judge after working in private practice for ten years, where he reportedly represented Epstein’s employees. According to the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, Reinhard was “a solo practitioner and as the co-chair of the white collar crime practice group of a national firm. His practice focused on white collar criminal defense and complex civil litigation”:

    From 1996-2008, he was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in West Palm Beach. From 1988-1996, he was a Trial Attorney in the Public Integrity Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, having entered the Department as part of the Attorney General’s Honors Program.  He began his legal career as the law clerk to the Honorable Norma L. Shapiro on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

According to the New York Post, “Reinhart resigned from the South Florida US Attorney’s Office effective on New Year’s Day 2008 and went to work for Epstein’s workers the following day.”

“The Epstein employees Reinhart represented, by his own admission to the Herald, included Epstein’s pilots; his scheduler, Sarah Kellen; and Nadia Marcinkova, who Epstein once reportedly described as his ‘Yugoslavian sex slave,’” the publication reported.

Lawyers for Donald Trump mediated with the FBI, Secret Service, and the Department of Justice and struck a deal that gagged the former president from disclosing the raid at Mar-a-Lago as it was underway, Radar has exclusively learned.

In the hour after the FBI made the sensational unannounced search of the Florida property on Monday, the two feuding factions – the Trump team and law enforcement — agreed to keep the raid quiet over concerns that pro-Trump supporters would turn violent.

It wasn’t until the vast majority of the agents who descended on Mar-a-Lago had left the scene that Trump took to social media, around 7 p.m., to decry what he labeled as a “raid.”

“Trump’s lawyers, the Secret Service, FBI and the Justice Department all convened to discuss the security operation that ran parallel to the search,” a source told RadarOnline.com.

“Everyone agreed the prospect of Trump supporters turning up to Mar-a-Lago was too significant — and the chance those supporters could violently storm the property all while the raid was underway was one they were not prepared to take.”

In wild scenes late into Monday, a horde of angry Trump supporters camped outside of Mar-a-Lago as broadcast networks reported live from the property.

One Trump fan also publicly identified as a member of the far-right Proud Boys.

A source told RadarOnline.com: “The Secret Service was charged with securing the property while the raid was underway.

Sources told Fox News on Tuesday that investigators from the Justice Departmen t visited Mar-a-Lago in June for a meeting about turning over records as part of an investigation into documents former President Trump allegedly took with him from the White House to his private residence when he left office in January 2021.

Trump's attorneys were present at that meeting and the sources say the former president himself stopped in to say hello for a few minutes.

The meeting came months after the National Archives -- with assistance from the Justice Department -- was able to get 15 boxes of documents sent back to Washington, D.C. after expressing concern they were in Florida.

The June meeting was about additional documents that were being sought. But following it, the Justice Department and FBI felt they weren't getting the same cooperation they had been receiving earlier in the probe, according to a source with knowledge of negotiations between Trump's team and the federal entities.

The perceived lack of cooperation is why a search warrant was requested and ultimately executed on Monday, Aug. 8 at Trump's Palm Beach property.

Michael Cohen declares 'the end is near' for Trump after FBI raid

Michael Cohen, a former attorney for former President Trump, declared on Tuesday that "the end is near" for his former boss after the FBI executed a search warrant at his Mar-a-Lago residence.

"Here’s what Trump’s attorneys should be telling him: ‘when the fbi raids, all you can do is prepare for jail.’" Cohen tweeted. "No one is above the law!"

He tweeted the message along with the hashtag "#KarmaBoomerang" and an image of an uncomfortable-looking Trump with the caption: "The End is Near…"

In the middle of directing the difficult task of transferring the historically important records of the Obama administration into the National Archives, the archivist in charge, David Ferriero, ran into a serious problem: A lot of key records are missing.

A first-rate librarian, Ferriero has been driving a much-needed digital overhaul and expansion of the National Archives over the nine years of his appointment. This will greatly improve the ability of digital search locally and remotely, as well as accessing the files themselves.

To support this effort, in 2014 President Obama signed the Presidential and Federal Records Act Amendments. For the first time electronic government records were placed under the 1950 Federal Records Act. The new law also included updates clarifying "the responsibilities of federal government officials when using non-government email systems" and empowering "the National Archives to safeguard original and classified records from unauthorized removal.” Additionally, it gives the Archivist of the United States the final authority in determining just what is a government record.

And yet the accumulation of recent congressional testimony has made it clear that the Obama administration itself engaged in the wholesale destruction and “loss” of tens of thousands of government records covered under the act as well as the intentional evasion of the government records recording system by engaging in private email exchanges. So far, former President Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Lynch and several EPA officials have been named as offenders. The IRS suffered record “losses” as well. Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy called it “an unauthorized private communications system for official business for the patent purpose of defeating federal record-keeping and disclosure laws.”

Clearly, America’s National Archives is facing the first major challenge to its historic role in preserving the records of the United States. What good is the National Archives administering a presidential library, like the planned Obama library in Chicago, if it is missing critical records of interest to scholars? And what’s to prevent evasion of the entire federal records system by subsequent administrations to suit current politics rather than serve scholars for centuries to come?
