That being said, it's my understanding that the family name "Patel" for Asian Indians is a bit like Smith for Americans.

I almost had that happen when I initially started teaching my daughter to drive. Thank God for a well-placed handbrake that had been recently serviced.

Thankfully, we avoided the light poles, and the driving has improved immensely since then.
