When I moved to Louisiana in the 90's, Cowboy Mouth became my favorite band.  Their studio stuff is good, but they are meant to be seen live.

Oh, good grief. I had that one pegged for the Jukebox from Hell come December. I am convinced that that song is the gayest hit song ever-- rivaling anything the Village People put out, and that's a tall order.

How could they not realize George Michael was gay?

Careless Whisper video...just above Last Christmas on the tread.....watch it.

It's about the decades long relationship between George Michael and his partner....also in the band that apparently died of aids.

Say what you will about homosexuality.....they produce some/most of the world's greatest art.   Geo. Michael has an amazing voice.

Yes.

As I raised my sons, I often reflected on how I would react if one of them developed such tendency.  I decided long ago that if they became quality adults, their happiness would be what mattered most.  As it is, they are indeed quality adults, Conservative in their views, and healthy heterosexuals.  I am, however glad I came to terms with the possibility in advance.

-----

A friend of mine and his wife are evangelical Christians and they raised 2 sons and a daughter.  They were always very critical of homosexuality from a very Biblical perspective.  Well, guess what?  Their eldest son is gay, lives with his partner in Chicago and is a chef.  To my pleasant surprise, my friends have embraced his lifestyle.  I am proud of them.

-----

What's my point?  Not sure actually, but I will save ultimate judgment for a Higher Power.

Now... back to the music!

I appreciate your comments, Lando. I have no children and haven't had to consider what my reaction to homosexuality might be, but I agree with your conclusion. As it turns out, one of my favorite singers - Janis Ian -  happens to be a lesbian and politically far to the left of me, not that it has anything to do with her music:

They're not embedding because for some odd reason you've ended up in HTTPS (secure) mode on YouTube.

To make sure they embed, what you want to do is look at the URL. If it starts with https:// , take the S out of the URL so that it reads http:// .
