Even the residents that want to stay will be forced to move when they can no longer afford to pay  the taxes.

Worse of all for them,because of the tax rates and the crime they won't be able to sell their homes,so they will just have to abandon them and start all over again if they can afford a downpayment where they move.

If not,they are going to have to rent.

Which is ok,because they can take heart in knowing that several homeless drug-addicted  families are now living in their old house instead of in tents.

We have heard from multiple sources that many of them used the same shelter in Clackamas County.

The guy he murdered in Va was his father,who the media described as a very well-known dentist that was involved in several public events. For some reason I don't understand,the news report I read online said he was arrested for 2nd degree murder. I don't understand why it wasn't 1st degree murder,but I am not a lawyer.

I've been following a twitter account called PortlandLooksLikeSchmidt @HeiditheHoFjord. She posts videos she takes from her car of the homeless encampments and overall decay in her city. She also retweets what others are saying about PDX and cities where municipal government is doing nothing to solve the problem.

Jesse Lee Calhoun, 38, is reportedly the person of interest in the string of four deaths and is now in custody, according to KOIN, which also reported Calhoun had several other clashes with the law in his past. He was released from prison early under a law signed by former Oregon Gov. Kate Brown.
