Roger Goodell backs affirmative action in NFL: Urges teams to hire Colin Kaepernick
June 16, 2020 | Samantha Chang

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell tacitly endorsed affirmative action by browbeating National Football League teams to hire middling quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who started his career as a second-round draft pick.

Kaepernick, 32, has not played since 2016, when he destroyed his career with the San Francisco 49ers by dragging toxic politics onto the football field after disrespecting the national anthem.

Goodell recently caved to outrage mobs by expressing support for the anti-police, anti-white Black Lives Matter movement.

Now, he’s urging reluctant NFL teams to hire Kaepernick, who hasn’t played pro football for four years.

“If he wants to resume his career in the NFL, then it’s gonna take a team to make that decision,” Goodell told ESPN. “I welcome that, support a club making that decision and encourage them to do that.”

The article is inaccurate - Kaepernick didn't destroy his career by dragging toxic politics into it, he destroyed his career by being a sub par player, and then tried to rescue it by dragging in toxic politics.

I hope someone picks the b*stard up and starts him so fans can finally have a means to register how they feel about him and his toxic politics.

People seem to forget that the NFL created a Kaepernick only specific skills test tryout last year, and most NFL teams sent representation.  He bombed it.

With three strings on each team, that means there are 96 NFL QB's.  I can safely say that Kapernick even at his zenith ranks at best 97th.

These team owners and managers really do have enough money to insulate them from reality, don't they?

I,for one,and looking forward to seeing the NFL going out of  business, and seeing the star players walking around with "Will pimp fo monies" signs.
