Trump considering quarantine for New York and parts of New Jersey, Connecticut

President Trump on Saturday said that he is considering putting in place an "enforceable quarantine" on travel for New York and parts of New Jersey and Connecticut.

“We’d like to see New York quarantined because it’s a hotspot — New York, New Jersey, maybe one or two other places, certain parts of Connecticut quarantined. I’m thinking about that right now," Trump told reporters before leaving the White House for Joint Base Andrews.

"We might not have to do it but there’s a possibility that sometime today we’ll do a quarantine — short term two weeks for New York, probably New Jersey and parts of Connecticut," he added.


The president was asked about the possibility again when he landed at Andrews before he boarded Air Force One, repeating that it would be for New York and parts of New Jersey and Connecticut.

Yesterday afternoon
I took my car out for a drive because I hadn’t been out of my apartment in 14 days and I was worried about the battery. I didn’t want it not to work. So I’m out, drove a mile, turned around in my supermarket parking lot. It was almost empty. Kid you not.

No one on the road, it looked like some kind of apocalypse movie. On the way back home, I’m seeing cars. A few but coming out of driveways, and all heading to the grocery store.

DeWine's presser today, he said he called the President and got a call back because the FDA has delayed approving life saving sterilization of N-95 masks.  Batelle Research Lab in Columbus has developed a system to sanitize 80,000 masks A DAY so that they can be reused by first responders.  There is already one ready to go on Long Island, one in Ohio, one on the way to NYC, and plans to send them to DC and Seattle.  They just need the FDA approval for all 80,000, and the bureaucracy is in the way.

The Governor said that President Trump said, "Let's get on it," and promised approval TODAY.  DeWine said "He gets it."

I have not disapproved of what Trump has done.  I only disapprove of what he keeps saying.

I hope you fans can get the difference here.

Fan club or no: Being a leader invites controversy, which will follow anyone who makes decisions.

Considering much of the controversy is the result of MSM and Demoncrat Party coordinated attacks aimed at reducing the ability of the Administration to get anything accomplished, even going to the lengths of Impeachment.

But such is the nature of the Trump Wars.  No matter what is said, or how much thought is put into it, people tend to cubby-hole others into "camps" that can be bundled together, so the sins of the extreme can be laid at anybody's doorstep.  To somebody who "loves" the President, any criticism is the result of "never-Trumpism."    To somebody who "hates" him, any praise of the President is seen as being a mindless cheerleader.
