THIS "Pete" is also a HUGE Uriah Heep fan. I bought their first album when it was new,and saw them in concert a couple of times. Despite the complexity of their music,damned if it didn't sound as good live as it did coming from the studio.

Pete Pardo lists as among his top 20 favorite all time songs,  a song by Savatage.... I'm not sure if this is it, but I wasn't that familiar with the band, from Florida.  He seems to think a lot of them.

Savatage is the band that eventually evolved into Trans-Siberian Orchestra, by the way. The main difference is that TSO is mostly seasonal stuff and Savatage is non-seasonal.
