It's hard to measure it when one is sure that the Special Prosecutor is dirty.  I'm pretty sure about that because of the men who successfully sued Mueller for framing them for Whitey Bulger's crimes.

I also mostly agree with @edpc about this being not much of a story.  I think the FBI can easily explain it away by simply stating they were preserving evidence.  That may still be BS, but it will be believed by enough people to sweep it under the rug.  Lindsey Graham, for example.

No one, from Mueller to media legal experts, has given a coherent legal justification for starting this investigation. There are no statutes that cover “collusion.” It appears to be a term of political art, rather than of law.

But, once Mueller got himself appointed, the cry “Russian collusion” became his cover, and the investigation itself became the event horizon for any truth regarding how Donald Trump won his election fair and square.
