‘Self-destructive’ Prince Harry wants apology for being ignored: royal expert

By Ben Cost
June 9, 2022

A “furious” Prince Harry will likely want “an apology” amid reports he was royally snubbed by Queen Elizabeth II and company at last week’s Platinum Jubilee, according to self-proclaimed royal expert Angela Levin.

“I think he would have been very, very upset that he was largely ignored,” the noted Prince Harry and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall biographer told the Sun. “He still feels he’s owed an apology.”

Offering her hot take on “self-destructive” Harry’s demeanor at the Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral last Friday, the royal analyst said: “The thing that really stood out for me on that day was Harry’s anger — he wears his emotions on his face and he looked absolutely furious.”

The outspoken Levin — who reportedly spent a year with Harry, 37, while writing his biography — was addressing the international photo controversy that emerged when he and wife Meghan Markle, 40, introduced daughter and namesake Lilibet, 1, to Elizabeth for the first time last Wednesday, after jetting to the UK to partake in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Multiple outlets claimed that the couple were denied a request to have a photographer take photos of the 96-year-old monarch and their daughter — with one anonymous source claiming they were told, “No chance. It was a private family event,” the Sun originally reported. That same birdie also claimed Elizabeth’s minders were worried that Harry and Markle would leak the photos to US television networks.

If this is true, and not just the fevered fantasies of Ms. Levin, Harry needs to be taken out to the woodshed (figuratively) by his father.

Netflix bosses will be 'dismayed' by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's failure to be photographed with the Queen and Prince William and Kate at the Jubilee, royal expert claims
Daily Mail/UK, Jun 8, 2022

Prince Harry and Meghan's failure to land pictures alongside senior Royals has dismayed Netflix executives, a Royal expert has claimed.

Prince Harry's biographer Angela Levin told GB News she'd heard the streaming-giant was desperate for the pair to secure images of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with royals like the Queen and Prince William as part of the series they are filming.

Ms Levin's comments come a day after it emerged Harry and Meghan had also failed to persuade the Queen to pose alongside daughter and name-sake Lilibet.

Speaking to GB News, Ms Levin, said this image would have been 'very, very valuable', adding: 'They would have used it for Netflix. It would give them a kudos that they had her with her great grandmother, you know.'

Prince Harry falls off horse during polo match after UK trip

By Yaron Steinbuch
June 13, 2022

Prince Harry took a tumble off his horse during a polo match in California Friday – a week after he glumly returned to the US from his grandmother’s Platinum Jubilee.

Photographs captured the Duke of Sussex, 37, thrown to the ground after he fell at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club and other polo players rushing over to help him.

But the rebel royal quickly regained his composure, brushed himself off and mounted another horse to finish the game, the UK’s Metro reported.

His wife Meghan Markle was not on hand to witness the fall or his team Los Padres losing the game, during which witnesses said he went through three horses, the Independent reported.

The duke’s embarrassing tumble occurred a week after the couple made their first official visit back to the UK since stepping down as senior royals in 2020.

Prince Andrew a no-show at major royal event after Charles insisted he be banned: reports

By Lee Brown
June 13, 2022

Prince Andrew was a no-show Monday at his expected return to high-profile royal events — after heir-to-the-throne brother Prince Charles reportedly intervened to bar his appearance.

The disgraced royal, 62, was long rumored to be joining other royals Monday at the flamboyant Order of the Garter parade.

But he was forbidden from attending at the very last moment after his 72-year-old brother was among those who lobbied their mother, Queen Elizabeth II, to stop him from attending, according to numerous UK reports.

Charles and his eldest son, second-in-line Prince William, persuaded the 96-year-old queen that Andrew’s appearance would spark a “backlash” given the ongoing sex scandal of his ties to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, The Telegraph said.

William and Charles, wearing plumed hats, did attend the flamboyant parade Monday, joined by their wives, Catherine and Camilla, as well as numerous other royals attending a service in St George’s Chapel.

Prince William 'made "him or me" ultimatum' over Andrew’s aborted comeback at Order of the Garter service forcing disgraced Duke to keep out of public eye after royals made ‘family decision’
Daily Mail/UK, Jun 3, 2022

*Andrew, 62, was stripped of his official duties in January as he prepared to pay a settlement to Virginia Giuffre
*He pulled out of today's Order of the Garter ceremony, despite being member of the ancient order of chivalry
*In a last-minute U-turn, the prince backed out of attending public aspects of the annual ceremony at Windsor
*Behind the scenes there was concern about the spectacle of the shamed prince walking in his robes in public
*Despite his non-appearance today, the duke believes he should be included in other royal and state events
*Andrew became Colonel of the Grenadier Guards five years ago after his father stepped back from public life

William and Kate 'will move family to Windsor in summer and Charles will give them the castle' after Jubilee talks that also saw Queen plot future for the monarchy involving Andrew 'sent to Scotland'

*William and Kate are planning to move to a house on Windsor Estate, according to report in the Sunday Times
*They are planning to move their children into a new school, but will retain their property at Kensington Palace
*It comes as it was today revealed Queen has been holding talks with Prince Andrew about rebuilding his life
*However one option on the table said to involve him leaving Windsor for Scotland to get out of the public eye
*Meanwhile, reports in The Sun suggest Harry and Meghan met Queen for 15 minutes during Jubilee weekend
*According to the paper, they introduced Lilibet to the Queen but palace aides kept the occasion 'formal'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in 'last chance saloon' with the royal family and will be 'cut off' if they leak any 'private' details about the Jubilee , royal expert claims

By HARRIET JOHNSTON FOR MAILONLINE
14 June 2022

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in the 'last chance saloon' with the royal family and will be 'cut off' if they leak anything from Jubilee, a royal author has claimed.

The Duke, 37, and the Duchess of Sussex, 40, who are currently living in their $14 million mansion in California, flew in from the US for the event last weekend, but spent little time with the royal family.

Harry and Meghan did not spend any private time with Prince William, Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis during the Jubilee, while they were not permitted to bring a private photographer to the first meeting between the Queen and their daughter Lilibet.

Kate Middleton and Prince William's First Official Joint Portrait Unveiled!

Quote

Kate Middleton and Prince William viewed a special piece of artwork on Thursday — their first official joint portrait.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were on hand for the painted portrait's unveiling during a visit to their namesake region of Cambridgeshire, which is a county in the City of Cambridge. The couple received the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge from Queen Elizabeth on their wedding day in April 2011.

William and Kate, both 40, stopped by the University of Cambridge's Fitzwilliam Museum in the heart of Cambridge, where they viewed the painted artwork as it was revealed to the public for the first time. The piece was commissioned in 2021 by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund, which is held by the Cambridge Community Foundation, as a gift to Cambridgeshire. It was painted by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth.

With all my media training, etc.  Am surprised they allowed Will to keep his hands in his pockets.  That's generally a no-no.

And uhhhh not that I typically stare at that area.  That portrait sure makes her look "bra-less"

I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

I'm not a fan of her dress.  It's not "timeless" as are clothes she usually wears.

The color is stunning, the dress is beautiful, the shoes are perfect, love the bracelet ... and he really captured her expression.  Who's the guy with her?   wink777

@Gefn

...hmm...I don't think that her expression was captured well or maybe he didn't quite capture the shape of her face --   Dress is beautiful though, but Williams' tie doesn't match her dress.

All in all, not a fan.

Is this controversy with Charles enough for the Queen to abdicate Charles' position to William?  I'm thinking so.  I know Charles has waited a very long time to become King, but this 'cash transaction' should be carefully scrutinized by the Queen. It certainly has raised some eyebrows.

Queen Elizabeth Makes Public Appearance As Prince Charles Controversy Looms

Queen Elizabeth II made an appearance in Scotland on Monday to kick off Holyrood Week 2022, marking her first public outing since her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The queen took part in an ancient ceremony at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, where she was accompanied by her son Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, the Countess of Wessex.

The 96-year-old sovereign, who has continued to experience mobility problems, used a walking aid at the appearance.

Later on in the week, the queen will be joined by her son Prince Charles for engagements in Scotland.

The Prince of Wales, who recently represented the queen at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Rwanda, made headlines over the weekend after a Sunday Times investigation revealed that the heir to the throne accepted bags of cash from a Qatari politician years ago, and used the funds for his personal charities.............

............The report said that the prince accepted around $3.2 million in cash from Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, who reportedly handed over money in a department store shopping bag and a suitcase in meetings that occurred between 2011 and 2015.

Prince Charles’ Clarence House denied any wrongdoing in a statement.

“Charitable donations received from Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim were passed immediately to one of the Prince’s charities who carried out the appropriate governance and have assured us that all the correct processes were followed,” they told CNN in a statement..................

I don't care for the dress or the portrait...neither is flattering to Kate

Queen Elizabeth is ‘fading away before our very eyes’: royal expert
By Andrew Court
June 24, 2022 4:50pm

A royal expert is sounding an alarm, saying new photographs of Queen Elizabeth II show the beloved monarch “fading away before our very eyes.”

Daniela Elser penned an op-ed for Australian outlet News.com.AU on Friday, saying images of the queen greeting New South Wales Governor Margaret Beazley in the UK last week were “nothing short of alarming.”

The snaps show the 96-year-old royal wearing a bright yellow dress as she smiles and shakes hands with the Australian politician inside Windsor Castle.

Elser claims the images are unremarkable until they are compared with photographs taken of the queen in a similar outfit back in June 2021, when she met former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

“The difference is truly startling,” the royal expert writes. “In the intervening 12 months, Her Majesty would appear to have become markedly more stooped, much thinner and overall appears to have shrunk.”

The Post has reached out for comment from the Queen’s communications secretary.
