Just remember when using your credit or debit card there. A few years ago when the CEO was asked to spend money on computer security, you know to protect those credit cards he replied "we sell hammers"
It would help Home Depot use some of its excess floor space to sell new products and gain a competitive edge over its peers.First off there is no extra space at any Home Despot. They have the aisles jammed up now with nonsense in little displays that belong at the dollar store, not a hardware place. Secondly I got accosted by one of these solar selling idiots while I was trying to pick up some paint for my guys. It gave me an opportunity to let go on this clown what a piece of shit Elon Musk is. That felt good.
They carry a really nice Milwaukee tool chest that I want.
I've heard questionable things about the branded stuff the Despot sells like Milwaukee and John Deere. It is not the real McCoy but cheaper built stuff to meet a price point. I get all my Milwaukee stuff at local industrial supply place.
Home De pot is the Harbor Freight of big box home centers and the sucks. Lowes or Maynards for me.
I try to stick with Lowes too. Their junk is less junkier. I am forced to use a Despot because there is one a couple blocks down from one of my multi units and it is convenient. If I had my guys use the nearest Lowes to there, they would drag the trips out to 4 or 5 hours.
Their Kobalt Brand is decent grade. Bought all I can say about that.
If you know where I can find a Builder's Square I'd appreciate the heads up.
LOL. You keep bragging to me about how young you are and then you make an ancient reference like that. ! No longer available

Don't let that one fool yah. She shopped Scotty's
Hey, that's a good deal on that drill. Do you have a Builder's Square close to you? I'll mail you the equivalent value in green stamps if you'll go get that drill for me.
That's racist making light of Scotsmen being cheap.
I still buy Craftsman hand tools with the lifetime warranty. Some days I wake up and decide a Philips screwdriver is a concrete chisel and a pipe wrench is a sledge hammer. Never know what mood will strike on any given day.
Kobalt hand tools also carry a lifetime warranty, except for the torque wrenches.https://www.kobalttools.com/guarantee
LOL. Too many morons think they make great breaker bars!
Craftsman ones make great breaker bars and in a pinch a half decent ax on small trees.
Hah, there was a Scotty's open in Orlando until around 1995.
As far as hardware goes, I still try to support the local ACE guy, as much as possible, but they don't always have everything I need.Good old Court's Hardware, on Hwy 90A, in Stafford, TX.Been there a long time.
Yep. Scotty's and Builders were big Players in Tampa too during the 80's.
So when the cocaine money dried up, so did they?
The cocaine money didn't dry up so much as they just figured out there were things that were just as lucrative and (mostly) legal.https://squaregrouper.net/
No Infants, Children or Pets? That place sounds awesome! It would be even better if they add Old and Ugly People to their list.
