CNN: Trump's lawyers arguing Mueller hasn't met bar for interview

Lawyers for President Trump are arguing that special counsel Robert Mueller's team has not yet shown a sufficient need to interview the president as part of its investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

CNN reported Tuesday that Trump's attorneys believe that the president should not be required to speak with investigators, because Mueller's team has not met the high-bar they believe is needed to interview the president.

That position has been put forward in negotiations on the matter, and is not final, according to CNN.

Trump needs to steer clear of Mueller ... I'm hoping that after the 'memo' is released Mueller will be singing a different tune.
