The good news: we haven't had the proper, full dictatorship yet. (Emphasis on yet.)

leader or getting them to salute a dear Republican leader. (I mean, how often did we see His Excellency Obama's
sycophancy "reminding" one and all that we were at war? How often did we see President Lips II's sycophancy
"reminding" one and all that we were at war---and not merely referencing the 9/11 aftermaths?)

Truman was willing to lose the Korean war just to damage MacArthur, one example.

MacArthur was using the threat of invading from Formosa to keep the Chinese out of the war. Truman didn't like that so Truman sent the 7th fleet into the Taiwan straight with orders to prevent any invasion from Formosa. Basically Truman was guarding the enemies flank. Well that freed up a lot of Chinese troops for use else where and guess where all those troops went? Yup Korea. Truman was a fool.

Show me ANY government that doesn't. Even ONE.

Goverments MUST sanction SOME authoritarian laws or regulations because it is the JOB of government to do what is right,not what is always popular. I am sure there is not a child rapist in the country that doesn't think it is  unfair to arrest adults for having sex with children. Would YOU approve of government overturning or not enforcing those laws because from the POV of perverts it is "authoritarian"?

The Right has been moving left since Goldwater. Relative references don't work, only absolutes (AKA: principles). JFK was to the right, constitutionally, of half the Republicans out there.

The Nazi's didn't have any trouble because they were telling people what they want to hear,just like the Dims tell their slave dependent base what THEY want to hear.

In some respect the Nazi's were more moral than today's globalists because what they were "selling" was a untried and untested promise that sounded pretty damn sweet to a Europe who had just gone though a massive economic depression

If the PROMISE of socialism,either national like the Nazi's promised,or worldwide like the Soviets and the DNC promise matched the reality,it would indeed be heaven on Earth. The promise does NOT match the reality though because human nature can't be changed,and the people in charge soon learn to line their own pockets and make power grabs to protect their positions,and if people have to die to make this happen,they can live with it.

Human nature is why our Founding Fathers set us up as a representative Republic instead of a democracy. No,it's not a perfect solution,but it is a hell of a lot closer to perfect than anything anyone else has ever came up with because free people have hope.
