Unbinding Delegate Amendment Killed Without Debate

OK folks, the Republican Party has crossed the rubicon and is not worth anymore of our votes, effort or money. I am officially changing to the Constitution Party, a party that believes exactly what we have for years and never really caught on because we just could not give up on the Republican Party.

Their 7 principles and platform are exactly what we have discussed for years and never got from the Rino Party. It would take some time to build but it could happen if we finally gave up on the loser non-conservative party of the Don. As well, we would not have to vote for a Libertarian dope smoking flake.

Here's what you folks aren't getting. Republican voters are on board with Mr. Trump as the nominee...many would have preferred someone else amongst the candidates, but that's always the case. The NeverTrump movement is a fringe remnant...whereas Evangelicals, moderates and working class Republicans are voting Trump and are supporting him in very large percentages (80% even amongst Evangelicals). So there's not going to be some sort of internal rebellion

We really don't give a flying monkey crap how large the mob is that wants your fuhrer, king, tinpot, dictator and messiah.  Could be 98% of the population that want to lemming themselves over the cliff with their monarch.

You said it yourself, the Rubicon has been crossed.   You think a people who want a caesar for ruler, content with breads and circuses give a flying fart about a Constitutional Republic?  They don't know what one is or they don't care.  Trump has become their Imperator, same as Obama/Hildabeast to their hordes.

The GOP Ruling Class Oligarchy threw in with their Octavian and we're just exiles now in our own fundamentally transformed country. 

While that was self-evident to me the last cycle, people are still infected with a fatal case of Normalcy Bias and as long as the plebes think their voice and vote has influence on who is ruler - they will continue to desire to deceive and be deceived while claiming law and legality.  Just like Julius did, and Antony after him, and Octavian Augustus when the dust settled.

We have no voice or representation at Mordor on the Potomac.  Tonight is just one more proof.  The mob, who view politics the same way rabid sports fans do, threw in with the Establishment, and lie to themselves that their crony Fascist is an outsider.  Boldfaced when facts demonstrate he is no different than George Soros, doing 'good business' the way the mafia and Fascists in Italy did some 94 years ago.  You have a stalking horse who literally drove Conservatism into irrelevance while paving the way for The Mao Pantsuit.  He and his vengeance-hungry hordes now redefine Conservatism to fit into the image of their monarch,  lie to themselves and demand we believe their despot is a god who embodies our core values and in whom we must genuflect, or be declared an enemy of Rome.

Maybe so, but I am tired of voting Republican and immediately after walking out of the polls feeling like I just puked up an all nighter with Boones Farm. I will at least feel better and will have hope for the future as our past to change the course of the R party was and always will be for naught.

We have got to start somewhere, if we had done so in 08 we could have had enough influence now to throw the election to the House. We always talk but never had the gonads to do.

Cruzers are posting this: Plan B may never need implementation but, if Plan A fails Plan be will be needed at the General Election in November! What this will take is the #Nevers to vote behind the largest Party vote getters combined with the Nevers & win 2-4 States, not to win, but win enough votes to block the DT or HC from getting 270 Electors apiece & this is the magic number that they have to get to win! This will throw the Election into the House of Representatives & they will elect our President & it will not be Donald J. Trump! It will be a good Republican such as Cruz, Rubio, Perry or some other good Republican!

They took a yea nay vote and the nays blew it out of the water

The added amendments during that time were yeah and nay, because it wasnt rocket science to tell the vote.

When the Cruzites used "rules" to steal delegates from the candidate who'd won a primary...in Colorado as one example...all you NeverTrump's thought that it was just great tactical maneuvering. This is no different, consider it payback for the Colorado caucus. And let me add, most conservatives...the vast majority in fact...are fully on board at this point. The Moral Narcissists like so many here will never stop trying to get Hillary elected, but nobody can slow down a fanatic.

As many of us tried to tell you folks, at the cost of much abuse and derision, was that there was never any chance this NeverTrump garbage was going to succeed in the rules committee, much less on the convention floor. Mr. Trump won the majority of delegates, and that's how we select a nominee for our party. Those who try to circumvent that process aren't following their conscience, they're being petulant children angry that they didn't win. So all that happened on that committee today was that the will of the voters was respected as sacrosanct. That's something to celebrate, but so many of you set yourselves up for disappointment that we're going to see nothing but vitriol and venom from you going forward. Oh well.

Good luck in the general election, Trumpeter...you're going to need it since you don't want our votes.

If "most conservatives' as you claim...were supposedly "fully on board" with Trump...then any debate about unbinding delegates....changes to the rules...hell even #nevertrump itself would never have happened or been cause for concern in the GOP hierarchy or within the Trump campaign.

And before you say it didn't make the Trump campaign nervous...if that were truly the case...he'd have never asked to meet with Cruz at the GOP HQ...invited Ted...without the requirement of an endorsement...to speak at the Convention.

MOST Conservatives detest what has been forced upon the top of the GOP ticket this year and no homespun fantasy from your fertile imagination will change that.

You can't be serious. First, none of the 3rd party candidates has ANY chance of winning a state...with or without the 2% of the electorate that are NeverTrumps. Second, if a miracle happened and they did, Trump walks away with ease in the House of Representatives.

Put simply, we must oppose fascism and the ignorance that enables it.   And that means we must not just withhold our votes from Donald Trump, but to actively work and vote to defeat him.   By any means necessary.
