No, I will not. Probably vote Gary Johnson just to prove that it was an intentional snub of both. I live in a severely blue state, so it doesn't matter anyway, it goes to Hillary.
I live in PA and after the conventions, I will be closely watching the polling here but most likely PA will go to Clinton so like you, my vote probably won’t matter.
I will also be watching how far Trump flip flops or changes his primary positions (more than he’s already done in just the last few days), how far left he will shift to get the Sander’s vote….etc.
If it ends up being a very close call here in PA and in order to deny Hillary the EC votes for PA, I may hold my nose very, very, very hard, to the point of requiring reconstructive surgery afterward and vote for Trump, hoping for the best, that he wouldn’t be the total disaster I think he will be, but at this point I’ll probably vote Libertarian as I did in ’96.
I watched both Libertarian debates on Stossel and I actually liked Austin Peterson better than Gary Johnson who I thought was very week on some personal liberty and private property issues (i.e. supported forcing people to provide services against their conscience or religious beliefs, i.e. the bakers) who and is “agnostic” to pro-choice on abortion whereas Peterson is pro-life, but I presume Johnson will be the Libertarian candidate.
But if we are going to go bat guano crazy anyway – why not John McAfee?
And truth be told, it is sort of a sad state of affairs when I have to question if McAfee doesn’t come off sounding a bit less crazy and a tad more rational than Trump. At least McAfee is consistent in his views and owns up to his past mistakes.
