An usher for my cousin Jackie's wedding in Rochester, NY...circa 1956
Studdly!
Alice suggested I should post it. Note - this is not my picture, I found it while doing some picture research, and it floored me a bit. I had no idea it even existed.Foreground, right. No beard and a rather depressing (now) lack of grey hair.
I hadn't known or heard of "Throwback Thursday". Started seeing Facebook "friends" post olde time pics and now understand why. LOL!Don't and won't post any pics on Facebook....I'm strictly a lurker. Don't even have a completed profile with a picture.TBR is my "facebook".....and love sharing time with the best "friends" anybody could want.Thank you Lando. And thank you all!
You know...By happenstance or whatever... a great group of people.
One question?Where are they all now?
I suppose that some are still here.
...but you already knew that.
Not at all. I was simply hoping that the thread could be revived by some of the people here. ^-^
We're people who love America as much as they do....if not more.
....come on...this isn't a political thread..
Here I am in 60 or 61 out at my grams farm. I was acting up..... she told me years later.
Sounds like a heckuva gal, your gram. Is this the thread for old pictures? Here I am around the same time holding forth among some of the neighborhood kids. Thats a white clover blossom in my nose.
LOL. Did you have a bloody nose? Yes she was. This was during the global warming climate change scare of 1958 or 59 in Northern Il. Couldn't get to the Piggly Wiggly to shop. She went out and caught dinner.
How does 'possum taste?
