Because most of the countries in Europe are small, but they're threatened by a nuclear superpower led by a malicious dictator that wants to conquer the whole continent ...

This  pointing-up is complete nonsense @Canuck Conservative    The EU is a big arse conglomerate ----- that has British and French nukes at their disposal.

British and French military forces are small compared with Russia

You didn't know that?

FreeRussia is controlled by a small group of anti-free-speech Nazis - no wonder its donations are down!!

Now you're just being silly and hoping no one notices ---- you're quite practiced at this strategy.  Too bad it's not working.  88devil

With some rounding....

EU +UK  military....approaching 2M

Russian- depleted and demoralized-  1M, and shrinking by the day.

Sorry Canuck, I want Putin hung from a tree  like everyone else, but this daily dose of Russian boogey man is getting old.

I wonder why that is, since Russia has been threatening Europe since it took over much of it after WW2?

Does that seem a sane policy over the long run?

Guessing Europe got addicted to Uncle Sugar's Marshall Plan.  Gig's up, and time to grow up and put on their big boy pants.

Biden and Boris Johnson killed a peace deal in spring 2022 that Ukraine would be lucky to get today
They only wasted a few million lives and a few hundred billion dollars in the interim

It's much worse than that.  Russia was going to withdraw from Donbas under the Istanbul agreement.  That's a non-starter now.  Millions of lives, hundreds of billions wasted, and Ukraine will lose most of Donbas.

These are all Kremlin-propagated lies.  The supposed "negotiations" in Istanbul in March 2022 were Russian demands for Ukraine's unconditional surrender.  Does anybody actually believe that Russia was going to withdraw from anywhere?

Ukraine already believed it once when it dismantled its nuclear stockpile.

Why not try it again?

That cost 20%, only 80% to go...
