I get the feeling half of NYers are so rude that some will intentionally spread the virus... Example (of this rudeness) was the video of them being arrested and loaded in a bus, someone was purposely lying and saying they were not warned what was about to transpire. I clearly saw the police announce exactly what was about to happen and why and if they didn't want to be part of the circus ---> just leave now. Yet those arrested just complain and gripe instead of just leaving and frequenting other places on the lowdown.

I don't like the mandate either, but I know my money speaks more than my complaints. When they come to my door to force me to take a shot, then it is time for more drastic resistance.

New York values.... funny some defend them, some just defend them when they feel it is politically advantageous.  I would almost bet those arrested have shouted leftist slogans most their adult lives, now they get to see the fruits of their labors (and I really am struggling to feel bad for them). Some can claim I am not seeing the bigger picture, and perhaps that is a valid argument, but perhaps I see the bigger picture but my dislike of the town as a whole poisoning the state that I really have a hard time finding something decent to root for.

In a sense, I agree. The business owner is between a rock and a hard place in this. However the mandates came not from the businesses but from the Government in New York. I am content, at this point to eat my own cooking, and avoid putting the business owner in a bind, but the businesses where I live don't demand vaccine "passports" from anyone.

MY Medical history (all of it!) is not their business, and under HIPAA, no one has the right or authority to demand any aspect of my medical information be revealed.

So while it may be unfortunate for them that they have to resort to such as a result of the overreach of their government, I will not darken their doorsteps either.

Besides, with information that the vaccinated can be carrying a full viral load and dispersing it, I'd rather not attend a potential superspreader event. At least people who get sick have the good sense to know it and usually stay home.
