We have some friends in California who own a Gym that caters to the Spartan race crowd. They got vandalized and had equipment stolen...the works.
And while I feel sorry for them and my heart goes out to them because they have a LOT of their money invested in making this gym work, the wife/co-owner of the gym proceeded to go on this long rant this morning after she posted the pictures of the damage where she basically said that they deserved what happened.
I was dumbfounded.
No law abiding citizen who goes about their daily life trying to make money to support their family DESERVES to have their property...business or otherwise...stolen and vandalized like that.
No matter how you look at it.... it’s a crime..... punishable with prison time!!!!
It’s definitely not a situation where you go “oops sorry...my badâ€

Ehh..... but I'm sure you realize.... that the radical left (I call them commies) is anti-capitalism.... and think that only Government should "own" stores. Government should own (and control) everything. Hence, anyone owning their own business or home, being independent from Government, is their enemy.... and deserves what they get during these "protests".
Forget prison time. The left lets criminals go. I'd just shoot them. They are, after all...

Love Scott AFB...My dad helped build it in it's early days...we moved close to there after he died so we had access to the base.
It's definitely better than Mountain Home where they are at now. I'm just worried about 1) How Liberal the state has become 2) the gun laws there (my SiL is a gun nut like me) and violence like what we see going on now especially with their close proximity to E. St. Louis...they've talked about buying a house there too.
Now that being said I absolutely LOVE the fact the grandkids have the potential of only being 4 hours away from Oma and Opa's house. happy77

I was feeling really distraught about oppression and injustice so I robbed a liquor store and set my neighbor’s car on fire. I feel a little better now and I’m glad that I could make a difference in the world today.

The city has cleaned up the bricks and looks like the one or two *in* Frisco, were legit. One an HOA ordered for a fence and the other was a legit mis-delivery.
In both cases, though, the bricks have been removed.
Bad time to actually need a pallet of bricks delivered anywhere.

Mrs. Liberty and I were talking about the pallets of bricks this morning, and why did nobody notice them. Legitimate pallets of bricks get delivered every day. Somebody could be applying a new fascia, building a wall or perhaps a DIY backyard barbecue pit. Water bottles filled with gasoline are also being found.
This is leaving a paper trail for some motivated Feeb Agent to track down.

As the country responds to the death of George Floyd and the subsequent protests, people are opening their wallets to donate.
A fundraising campaign set up by Floyd’s brother is aimed at helping the family deal with funeral expenses, grief counseling, and court-related costs, and, according to the fundraiser, “to assist our family in the days to come as we continue to seek justice for George.†As of Monday afternoon, the page had raised more than $7.6 million from almost 300,000 donors in just five days.
Floyd died after Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin pinned Floyd’s neck down for almost three minutes after Floyd stopped responding. Chauvin has been fired and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.
“My family and I watched in absolute horror as the now infamous and horrifying video began to spread quickly throughout social media. What we saw on that tape left us shell shocked,†the GoFundMe reads. “A portion of these funds will also go to the Estate of George Floyd for the benefit and care of his children and their educational fund.â€
Floyd’s death set off protests and riots in cities across the country. The rioting and looting first began in Minneapolis, where protesters stormed a police precinct and set buildings on fire. A fundraiser started by the Lake Street Council aims to help finance repairs to businesses damaged or destroyed. As of Thursday, about 32,000 people had chipped in to raise more than $2.5 million to help the area at the heart of the riots rebuild.
The Washington Examiner reached out to GoFundMe for comment.

Yep. I've moved and warehoused alot of palletized freight by forklift and manual pallet jack in my days a la a Walmart warehouse.
Those got to be carried in by semi truck, and taken off by a forklift. Even in my prime a pallet of brick was not easy to drag around with pallet jack.
And in my prime I was 235 lbs and could pick up a 190 lb entertainment center and throw it a good 6 ft.
The max semi-tucks can carry is about 28 pallets load. in 'flower petal' configuration. There is also a 45 ton weight limit for the road (or used to be anyway).
Dozens of pallets around a city would require multiple semi-trucks, alot of money and top-level coordination, plus a fair amount of lead time.
Not something just random or done off the cuff and pulled out of your butt.

Watching the local news -- there was a march this afternoon in a Pittsburgh neighborhood that was peaceful, but after it ended, some people starting going through the neighborhood breaking windows, assaulting police officers, reporters and others. 20 people were arrested, and it was pointed out that four of them were from out of state. Thankfully, injuries were not life threatening and it is believed none of the stores were actually looted.

How much longer before we acknowledge that what's happening is transmogrifying into outright war?
It's a war by leftists/communists/democrats/anarchists... to overthrow Constitutional government in the United States.
However, at the rate it's going, it's going to be perceived (and portrayed) as a "race war", regardless of the true and underlying nature of the struggle. But this becomes "part of the plan" embraced by the instigators, the "forces behind the curtain".
The democrat-communist Congressional "leadership" is tellingly silent, or supportive of the rioters ("the demonstrators").
At the moment even some who are supposed to be on our own side are weakening and wavering. You've read about them in an article or two posted right here.
We have to solidify and define our position, then fight for it (with the full force of arms) if we hope to defeat the enemy.
And the other side has now BECOME "the enemy".
They are no longer the "loyal opposition", because they are no longer loyal.
They cannot merely be regarded any longer as "opposition" because that implies a measure of civility that they now renounce by their refusal to uphold law and order.
They have become ... "the enemy".
And we must regard them as such.
If the local police, the county police, the state police, and the state national guards will no longer "protect the population" from the insurgents...
... then ultimately this duty will fall to the ordinary people.
If they want to save their country, there seems to be no other choice.
What must be done...?

American leadership is only now starting to realize that.
Of the two groups, Antifa is far more organized and far more dangerous. BLM can be bought off. Let them loot a few stores and they go home happy. Antifa however, has a far deeper and a far more sinister goal.
It has nothing to do with that Floyd guy or Police abuses. It is all about weakening and tearing down America as much as possible. Most of these kids have no idea what they are fighting for or who is benefiting from it. By the time Antifa figures out they are just stooges for Billionaire Corporate Globalists, it will be too late. That is why America cannot allow them to win. Antifa will never figure it all out, and stop the destruction. Because they don't even know what they are doing in the first place, or why they are doing it.

There is a suburban mall not far from my house that was targeted. However, the police were on top of it. They got advance warning by monitoring Antifa's own social media network and literally followed many of the wannabe looters to the mall. Lots of out-of-state plates. Once the looters realized that cops were already on them before they even got there, they scattered. Crisis averted. The mall was untouched, which is good because there were more looter cars (about 200) than there were cop cars.

Exactly. Well .... the truth of the matter is ... they are extremely well organized and obviously have been for quite some time. Well, it seems that the local law enforcement is outnumbered ...the national guard was called in and even with the national guard and a curfew in place, the riots still proceeded. It's looking like we will be defending ourselves sooner or later.

We have some friends in California who own a Gym that caters to the Spartan race crowd. They got vandalized and had equipment stolen...the works.
And while I feel sorry for them and my heart goes out to them because they have a LOT of their money invested in making this gym work, the wife/co-owner of the gym proceeded to go on this long rant this morning after she posted the pictures of the damage where she basically said that they deserved what happened.
I was dumbfounded.

Sadly, too many people I thought would know better from the younger generation, or at least not interested enough to bother, are falling for this, too.

It’s the boomers fault for raising these kids in an artificial atmosphere of participation trophies and self love. Whatever little Tommy and Susie does is precious and perfect. No consequences, no rules, no reality.

I cannot give enough praise to our Republican governor here in Georgia. His swift support of local police and his coordination with the Democrat Mayor of Atlanta was nothing short of brilliant. There were a very large number of Antifa agitators here who tried for several nights to cause havoc and mayhem in Atlanta and its surrounding suburbs. But the Governor effectively shut it down by mobilizing the National Guard, developing a strategy, and implementing that strategy.

There were a very large number of Antifa agitators here who tried for several nights to cause havoc and mayhem in Atlanta and its surrounding suburbs. But the Governor effectively shut it down by mobilizing the National Guard, developing a strategy, and implementing that strategy.

Agreed, but I think it's mostly the generation after the boomers. I have a cousin 2 years older than I -- we are both boomers. She is beside herself because she found out her granddaughter was involved in the protests in Pittsburgh over the weekend and her son, the girl's father, thinks it's swell.

Ok,that makes it official. The Second American Revolution has began. The tip off is revolutionaries ALWAYS attack court houses in order to destroy documents and history. People who have police records or under suspicion of subversion,suddenly have no police records.
Even MORE important,people who own properties and have permits no longer can prove they own the property or have any permits.
It is the opening act of anarchy.

Atlanta has burned before. there was a report done in the 60s on how to quell "Civil Unrest", what steps should be taken at what level of unrest, etc. Oddly enough, I am having trouble finding it on the web. It laid out when to use ordinary policing, step up to riot control, establish curfews, call in the National Guard to clear the streets, etc.
We have been here before, only now the communists are in the open and not hiding behind the multitude of little groups known collectively as ""The New Left", as they did in the '60s and '70s.

I caught a 3-part series on the History Channel called "Apocalypse Stalin' which covered the October Revolution and the struggle that followed. The Bolsheviks were not at all well-received throughout Russia. The only reason they prevailed is because of wholesale terror and mass murder. Not seeing that much difference between the Bolsheviks and Antifa.

Nah, it was the "greatest generation" whose children started it all during the 60s. It's been nearly 50 years, but I recall teachers telling me to my face "how disappointed they were" in my decision to accept a 4 year Army ROTC scholarship.
The only teacher who publicly supported me was my calculus teacher, who was a former Jesuit priest at Marquette. He was thrilled that I was matriculating at Gonzaga.
Yeah, I'll never forget my last two months of HS...I shook the dust off my feet and haven't returned.
I'll never be "Father of the Year", but my 3 kids are as conservative as their mother and me.

My parents were of that generation; my father was injured serving in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific in WWII.
Their oldest child exemplifies the worst of the the boomers. Born in 1950, he rejected everything his parents stood for. He hates the US, deifies Che and Fidel, did a boatload of drugs and stands alongside the current crop of Antifas even at the age of 70. What a loser (yes, technically, my brother - but I don't claim him).
