Corporate media malignment set “bloodbath” trending in a blatant attempt to drum up a “hoax in real-time” against former President Donald Trump.

The years removed from “very fine people on both sides” haven’t seen a change in tactics with coverage of the GOP leader from his friends in fake news. If anything, the latest example after a campaign stop in Dayton, Ohio showed they’ve only grown shrewder in their shamelessness.

Saturday, ahead of the Buckeye State’s primary election, Trump joined Senate hopeful Bernie Moreno and other Republican figures on stage in the midst of one of his lengthy stump speeches. During his remarks, the president highlighted differing approaches to China’s impact on the American economy by himself and incumbent President Joe Biden prompting a slew of narrative-supporting headlines.

As the social media account End Wokeness described with a side-by-side of Trump’s actual remarks and the clickbait coverage, “We are witnessing the invention of the ‘bloodbath’ hoax in real-time…Unfortunately for them, we have X.”

Examples included CBS News, Rolling Stone and NBC News, which had titled an article, “Trump says there will be a ‘bloodbath’ if he loses the election,” only to clarify in the subheading that he was speaking “in the context of auto manufacturing.”

Former President Donald Trump‘s speech Saturday had a clip go viral when he suggested the automobile industry will undergo a “bloodbath” if he’s not reelected.

Trump was in Dayton, Ohio, when he was disparaging electric vehicles and made campaign promises to maintain the auto industry should he be reelected. The 2024 candidate blasted China for its part in building car factories in Mexico.

“We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected,” Trump said. “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.”

However, some Democratic figures zeroed in on Trump’s “bloodbath” comment and raised a red flag.

“Promising a bloodbath is disqualifying. I don’t care what you think about other issues,” Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) wrote on X. “This guy is promising a bloodbath. He needs to lose. Stand up for America. Please.”

Clearly he is talking about an economic bloodbath. But this is classic Trump modus operandi.  I have no doubt he chose that phrase specifically to trigger the left and make himself the story. I have no opinion about it one way or the other. It is apparently a dance between him and his opponents. He finds it beneficial to trigger them, and they find it beneficial to act like hyenas every time he says something provocative.

Industry insiders agree with former President Donald Trump’s suggestion that China is looking to annihilate American auto manufacturing on President Joe Biden’s watch.

During a speech in Ohio on Saturday, Trump warned Chinese President Xi Jinping that if he is reelected in November, China’s premier automakers will not be allowed to export their cheap Electric Vehicles (EVs) to the United States market without facing massive tariffs.

Most recently, reports circulated that China’s BYD is planning to build EV plants in Mexico to export the cars to the United States at low prices — thus drowning American-made competitors and dominating the EV market.

Trump said Biden’s allowing China to do so would be a “bloodbath” for American auto workers.

“Let me tell you something to China, if you’re listening President Xi — and you and I are friends but he understands the way I deal — those big, monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now, and you think you’re going to get that and you’re going to not hire Americans and you’re going to sell the cars to us, no,” Trump said:

I think most of us are saying he said more than the media are reporting he said. Their reporting, therefore, is only partially true.

They aren't reporting he was talking about the auto industry, and a metaphoric economic bloodbath. They are implying he was inciting violence, with actual human blood flowing in the streets.

If you want raise prices on consumers and American businesses and manufacturers and trigger a trade war and economic disruption

On top of that, Trump has talked about imposing a 60% tariff on goods from China and another 10% goods imported from other countries. You have Americans already struggling to pay for things

  Hopefully, should Trump win a second term, they’ll be enough Republicans in Congress to protect him from his own bumbling stupidity.
