Iran Warship Enters Increasingly Contested Red Sea Shipping Lanes

Tehran announced Monday it has sent a warship into the increasingly contested waters of the Red Sea as navies from other nations work to stem attacks from Iran-backed Houthi terrorists.

The semi-official Tasnim news agency reported Iran’s frigate Alborz, launched in 1969 on completion by Vickers in the UK, will fly the country’s flag across the key shipping lanes.

In its report, Tasnim did not specify the details of the Alborz’s mission but highlighted what it claimed were the regional implications of Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

“Following rising tensions in the Gaza war, there has been an acceleration in developments in the Gulf of Aden and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait,” it said, repeating words of action long pronounced by Tehran in its war with the west.

The video showing an Israeli woman in jogging pants with blood-stains in the groin area as Hamas was moving her from one vehicle to another vehicle was pretty convincing.

Still, Hamas also murdered babies like wolves preying on lambs.

It's time to use black ops to unwind the Iran Revolutionary Guard and its proxy networks.  The nomadic goat-herders in Gaza, southern Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen are getting their equipment, training, and logistics from somebody ... perhaps Iran?

Since Iran prefers to spend money on spreading terror, and not humanitarian needs, Iran needs to be isolated from world financial networks, and there needs to be a ban on the transportation or import of Iranian oil.

Israeli troops killed a Hamas commander who helped lead the Oct. 7 terror attack that killed some 1,200 people and saw about 240 others taken hostage.

Adil Mismah, the Nukhba Company Commander of the city of Deir al-Balah, was “eliminated,” Israeli Defense Forces wrote on X Monday.

Mismah had led terrorists into the Kibbutz Kissufim and ordered other gunmen to ravage the communities of Nirim and Be’eri, according to The Jerusalem Post.

The commander was slain in an airstrike directed by Israeli ground troops, officials said.

The IDF said troops also “struck Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror targets” in Shejaiya and located a large cache of weapons as well as destroying a launch post and “eliminating” a terror cell that had attacked Israeli troops.

Notice: Not a single one of the armed Hamas terrorists in the footage is in military uniform. If they are killed, the world will blame Israel for “killing civilians.”  Also, this is the first time I see what happens after Hamas terrorists fire on Israeli tanks. In Hamas Aljazeera propaganda footage, pic is always frozen in the middle of the blast, never showing what happens next (apparently nothing).

There already is.  But the Biden regime has chosen not to enforce it.  Since Biden took office, Iran oil revenues have risen from almost nothing to over $60 billion a year.

USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier heads home after standing guard near Israel following Oct. 7 attack
January 2, 2024 | 3:48am

The Ford was deployed to the Eastern Mediterranean so it could be within striking distance of Israel following the Oct. 7 attacks by Hamas.

The strike group includes the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, eight squadrons of attack and support aircraft, Ticonderoga class guided missile cruiser USS Normandy, and missile destroyers USS Thomas Hudner, USS Ramage, USS Carney and USS Roosevelt.

US 6th Fleet officials said in the coming days, the fleet will redeploy to its home port as scheduled, where it will prepare for future deployments.

The Department of Defense will continue to evaluate force posture globally and retain an extensive presence in the Middle East and Mediterranean, officials added.

Ships that will remain in the area include the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, additional cruisers and destroyers in both the Middle East and Mediterranean and the recent arrival of the Wasp-class amphibious ship USS Bataan and Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Carter Hall in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea.

- Israel has VERY GOOD intel capabilities; Hamas chiefs knew they must be extra-careful. Israel still got them.
