You mean like the RINOs just passed the CR by working with the Democrats?
They tried to work with the hardliners, but they refused to consider even a 30 days CR plus spending cuts. So there was no option left to avoid a shutdown but to pass the Senate bill and its 45 day CR. And given the number of Republican members who were not going to vote for a long-term shutdown when there wasn't even a GOP alternative, that was inevitable.
And if you think removing McCarthy is going to make it
less likely that there will full CR after that 45 days expires...guess again. The hardliners fired the only bullet in their gun, and have now made themselves irrelevant.
