Oh...so he gets all the blame when his Congress signs Trillions of $$$ in spending, but none of the credit for providing a list of twenty judges to Mitch.

Trump made a list?

How the Federalist Society became the de facto selector of Republican Supreme Court justices.

See how it works?   ****slapping

Handing anything over to Mitch and expecting a positive outcome is a mistake.

Also, Trump is the one who signs off on the spending; he has the right to veto what spending Congress comes up with.

Funny how they try to credit the candidate who championed taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood as the one who overturned Roe.

Oh...so now he's a lying weasel who really supports abortion??

His name wouldn't be on those monstrosity Federal Congressional Budgets if he'd just VETO it and let congress override him.

Reagan and GWB did it a few times and were reelected with the Conservative vote.   @DCPatriot

I am willing to give him credit for overturning Roe, the same way Clinton gets credit for 'balancing' the budget... Though we all know that was the 94 Congress.

What person was going to veto a giveaway that was intended to reimburse people who were suddenly shut down because of a national 'pandemic' in an Election year?

Would Ted Cruz?  Would Ron DeSantis??

Trump is every ounce of his 215lbs the Conservative that Ron DeSantis claims to be.

The DeSantis Group is a front for the Bush Group.  No thank you.

I REALLY want somebody, anybody to try to defend theses statements.

@roamer_1

Wasn't it proven that it was somebody from the Jeb Bush campaign who was heading a donor group for him?

Then after that leaked out, his poll numbers and donors started to bail?

Or, am I high??

Well... He DID say if elected this time he's going to do something with abortion that will make everybody happy. He can't do that if it is a states rights issue now... Without turning it federal again, and nixing the very thing you are giving him credit for.

So what?
It makes no difference. Campaign professionals are not necessarily aligned. And they are few and far between. If somebody made a stink about it, it was likely Tump, And I will betcha money that I can dig plenty of previous Bush-aligned campaign pros out of Tump just as well.

You're right...he should have vetoed it and let the Congress override him.

But you and I weren't Public Enemy #1 already in the eyes of the mainstream media surrounded by scoundrels while doing the job as POTUS.

Look @corbe  You and I both can use hindsight and agree that shutting down the country and trade routes over a bullshit flu was a turning point of sorts, from which we still haven't fully recovered.

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Fact Check-Tampa Bay Times headline saying Jeb Bush organizing fundraisers for Ron DeSantis is from September 2018

Uh...that's not the drone we're looking for.

This connection was a still active person in the PAC.

The Bush family is also behind the Ken Paxton takedown in Texas.  They want to rule to soon-to-be-purple State.

Oh, so now we've retracted from "The DeSantis Group is a front for the Bush Group" to some guy who works for a PAC.  Does this 'connection' have a name?

They're trying to control the new "Texas" ...for after Amnesty is signed

And they weren't beneath using Ron DeSantis as a front to get back into Washington.

I believe that to be True @DCPatriot but the Bush's are not totally inept.  They keep themselves Locally in Texas, except a few occurrences with Cheney, up in Wyoming.  They would never slow the progress of a   DeSantis; because a Conservative Floridian is a lot better to deal with than a NY Liberal.

Ron DeSantis Skips Work on His Birthday To Fundraise With Mitt Romney and Bush Family Political Donors

snip...

DeSantis kicked his birthday morning off with a breakfast fundraiser in New York City that was hosted by several wealthy executives, including attorney William Burck, David Blumberg, the founder of Blumberg Capital, Steve Hornstein, an executive at the investment advisory firm Global Credit Advisers, and Mark Gerson, the co-founder of financial information services company Gerson Lehrman Group. Attendees of the fundraiser had to pay an astounding $11,600 per plate entry price.

This week, US Senator and former Presidential candidate Mitt Romney announced he isn’t running for re-election to the US Senate in a cryptic video message. His announcement came two days after I posted exclusive photos of him while he was traveling solo at the Palm Beach International airport in Florida, where Ron DeSantis is Governor. Was Mitt Romney fundraising for Ron DeSantis in Palm Beach, home to President Trump and mega donor central? Perhaps, and Ron DeSantis’s recent fundraising trip to New York City with some of Mitt Romney’s closest advisors adds fuel to the fire.

There is no such thing as a coincidence. And it appears that just days after Romney was spotted in Florida, and announced he won’t be seeking re-election, all of his biggest financial backers from 2012 are hosting high dollar fundraisers for Ron DeSantis in the same week in the tristate area. The attendees and host committees of the fundraisers all included prominent donors to Senator Mitt Romney.
