Woman Goes To LAPD About Stolen Credit Card. One Of Them Stole It.

Here’s a short, scary video about a woman who’s had thousands of dollars charged to her stolen debit card. Both Citibank and LAPD were unhelpful.

Then she started investigating on her own, and discovered that store footage showed the perp was the LAPD officer she had handed her card to to bail out a relative.

She’s fortunate that the bad cop was stupid enough to carry out his shopping spree in stores with security cameras.

Good for this gal and a pox on Citibank and LAPD for refusing to help until she could prove it.
My debit card got skimmed at the Valero in Baker while on a business trip.
My Credit Union called me within just a couple of days reporting a rash of suspicious activity that they had declined until I confirmed the purchases.
Fortunately, all I had to do was cancel the card and get a new one.
Just another reason I refuse to use banks, if my CU can watch out for me, you'd think a company as large as Citibank could make some feeble attempt.
Throwing our allegiances to political parties in the long run gave away our liberty.
