The list of attendees seems to be quite small.  I did notice too that Mama Jill will be without Brandon at her side.

Coronation Day - Saturday, 6 May

6am: Coronation viewing areas will open along the main procession route

7:15am: Westminster Abbey guests will begin arriving at security checkpoints in Victoria Tower Gardens.

9am: The congregation will be seated inside Westminster Abbey.

9:30am-10:45am: Coronation guests, including the royal family, heads of state and former prime ministers are scheduled to arrive.

9:45am: The Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry will prepare to assemble for the King's Procession from Buckingham Palace.

10:20am: The King and Queen will travel from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach.

11am: The main event, the coronation, will take place.

In line with a tradition dating back centuries, King Charles III's coronation ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey.

The ceremony will begin once the royals have completed their arrival procession from Buckingham Palace. Prior to Charles being crowned, a number of ceremonial acts will be performed.

The Archbishop of Canterbury will call for the recognition of the monarch by stating: 'Sirs, I here present unto you King Charles, your undoubted King. Wherefore all you who are come this day to do your homage and service, are you willing to do the same?', according to The Telegraph.

I'd take the fish and chips as well...but I'm not sure about the mushy peas.

Truthfully, this whole she bang is starting way to early for me, lol. That being said, if they did it in my front yard, I might crack the blinds enough to see parts of it.

Brit cuisine is much better now than in years past. I guess the fish and chips is an effort to humanize the royal family, or something. I do remember having that dish at a London pub several years ago, and whenever peas happened to fall off anyone's  plate, there was a little Jack Russell standing by to snatch them up.

Prince William's Key Role at Coronation Revealed — How the Heir Will Pay Homage to Father King Charles
People, Apr 30, 2023

The Prince of Wales, who is heir to the British throne, will step forward at Westminster Abbey on May 6 and pledge his loyalty and allegiance to the King during the historic ceremony.

Soon after King Charles is crowned midway through the ceremony, Prince William, 40, will kneel before King Charles, 74, and place his hands between the hands of the King and say: "I, William, Prince of Wales, pledge my loyalty to you and faith and truth I will bear unto you, as your liege man of life and limb. So help me God."

Prince William — who celebrated his 12th wedding anniversary with Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales on Saturday — is the only royal who will pay his respects in this way in the service.

Prince William will also appear during the coronation service as the Stole Royal (from an ancient Greek word meaning "scarf") and the Robe Royal are brought to the King. William will assist the Baroness Merron and bishops in putting the robe on King Charles.

The liturgy also sees another distinct break from the past, with the Archbishop, the Most Rev. and Right Honorable Justin Welby, inviting people around the U.K. watching or listening to the ceremony to join in a Homage of the People. That role would traditionally have been done by hereditary dukes and earls at Westminster Abbey.

The Church of England says this is a "new and significant moment in the tradition of the Coronation . . . As never before has the general public been offered such an opportunity to join with national figures in declaring their allegiance to the Sovereign."

The new vow says, "I swear that I will pay true allegiance to Your Majesty, and to your heirs and successors according to law. So help me God."

Prince George, Prince William's eldest son who is second in the line of succession, will also play a special role in his grandfather's coronation. The 9-year-old royal will serve as a Page of Honor to King Charles at the crowning ceremony.

George's participation at the coronation will make history — according to The Telegraph, Prince George will become the youngest future king to play an official role at a coronation.

King Charles Coronation: What will he wear for the ceremony?
BBC, May 1, 2023

We know the date, the time, most of the guest list - and now we know the outfit.

The heavy and priest-like golden robes King Charles III will wear for his Coronation have been revealed.

During the service, the King will put on layer upon layer of glittering vestments, some of which were created for his great-grandfather George V.

Prince William will help during the service by placing a ceremonial robe on his father.

For the crowning, King Charles will be given a long shimmering gold-sleeved coat to wear called the Supertunica.

The robe was created for George V in 1911 and has been worn at successive coronations including by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

It weighs about 2kg (4.4lb), is made of cloth of gold - silk thread wrapped in thin pieces of gold or silver gilt metal - and is embroidered with stylised arabesques and floral motifs.

Layered on top of the Supertunica, there will be a floor-length cloak called the Imperial Mantle, or Robe Royal, which was made for George IV in 1821 - it weighs 3-4kg (6.6-8.8lb).

The mantle, which fastens across the chest with a golden eagle clasp, is inspired by ancient coronation ensembles and its priest-like style is meant to symbolise the divine nature of kingship.

Made of cloth of gold, it is embellished with motifs including fleur-de-lis, as well as imperial eagles, and national floral emblems of red-pink roses, blue thistles and green shamrocks.

It has been worn by previous monarchs including Queen Elizabeth II during her coronation in 1953.
