   Other than jackin my jaw here i have been out of Politics since that Balmy May night, Indianapolis 2016, that Cruz suspended his Campaign.

   I'm gonna take that small step and get back into local Politics to Elect a true Conservative to Mayor of this town (New Braunfels) and not just another puppet of the CofC.  The last two times I got into local politics, both Canidates lost.  Trump won after that and I just gave up.

   CofC offered me membership years ago, help my struggling PC Company in its startup.



   I'll even do a Phone Bank to have a Mayor French.

Donald Trump hits Ron DeSantis over Florida endorsements; rivals say Trump is worried

WASHINGTON – Donald Trump plans to meet Thursday with Florida lawmakers who have endorsed him, part of an ongoing effort to try and intimidate Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as he prepares to possibly challenge Trump in the 2024 presidential race.

Trump has been promoting his Florida endorsements for days, seeking to counter DeSantis' trip to Washington, D.C., to meet with members of Congress about the 2024 election. The former president has been attacking DeSantis for months, and even urging him to not run at all – a suggestion DeSantis is likely to ignore.

"A great group of supportive Florida Congressmen and Congresswomen, all who have Endorsed me, will be coming to Mar-a-Lago tonight," Trump said in an ungrammatical post Thursday on the Truth Social website...............

...............DeSantis allies said Trump is on the attack because he fears DeSantis, who is building a probable presidential campaign built of grassroots support, not political endorsements.

"Donald Trump should be worried about Ron DeSantis," said Erin Perrine, communications director for "Never Back Down," a pro-DeSantis political action committee. "Ron DeSantis isn't even a candidate at this point and Donald Trump is obsessed with him."

Perrine added that when voters compare the two, "DeSantis has a massive record of success versus Trump’s failures."....

Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida on Tuesday made a rare return trip to Washington, where he served in the House before his run for governor, to mingle with about a dozen Republican lawmakers.

But his journey to Capitol Hill failed to spark much momentum in his expected presidential bid among Republicans in Congress, an important group for White House aspirants.

Representative Dan Meuser, who attended the gathering of about 100 people and who remains undecided in the race, left with the impression that Mr. DeSantis was close to announcing. “It’s a big decision,” he said. “It’s up to him.” And another attendee, Representative Dan Crenshaw of Texas, said, “I’m staying out of it.”

Representative Lance Gooden of Texas, meanwhile, sent out a statement endorsing Donald J. Trump — during Mr. DeSantis’s event.

Mr. DeSantis made time to have long conversations with every member who wanted to talk, according to attendees.

Mr. DeSantis is set to return to the nation’s capital on Friday to address a conference for the conservative Heritage Foundation before traveling to Austin, Texas, for an event.

I have to admit that I am more than a little surprised by this.

From there, he will travel abroad on a trade mission that the governor’s office has not publicly announced. The itinerary includes Tokyo, where he’s scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, before heading to Seoul, Tel Aviv and London, according to people with knowledge of the planning.
