Some very brilliant insight on this Thread, so far.   44444heart

   * Forgot to add:  Don Jr. leaked this to the Trumpwaypundit to begin with, as another way to sabotage DeSantis.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

This will put a nail in Ron DeSantis coffin very quickly if he fails to respond decisively. Expect more and more attacks suggesting the Bushes are behind RDS. This will kill him very quickly. RDS walking back his Ukraine comments led me to believe someone (Karl Rove?) was whispering in his ear that he should position himself as more in support of Ukraine.  Big mistake. That war will be extremely unpopular by the time November 2024 rolls around

It's more than a "suggestion" that Bush/Rove/Ryan are behind the DeSantis campaign ----- it's his neocon, globalist alliances and voting record in Congress ----- conveniently left out of his new hagiography now in bookstores.

To do that, he has to distance himself from the likes of the Bushes and be seen as basically Trump without the age and drama.  That will be a hard sell if all of his money is coming from globalist neocons.

It will also be difficult for DeSantis to sell this after doing such a beautiful job explaining the drama:

Agree.  And this is one of the fundamental reasons I do not like or trust Ron DeSantis.

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Logic ain't your strong point,is it?

What does logic have to do with calling you out on an unfounded claim you made?

LOL!  @roamer_1   Certainly, not you!

Not @catfish1957 either.

But they're coming outta the workwork...like the cowardly roaches they are!
@DCPatriot Not I either. I have always supported Trump when he was right and always pointed out when I thought he was blowing chunks. The problem I have with Trump is that I am really tired of the juvenile antics like name calling and telling flat out lies about other conservatives like he did with Cruz and is now doing with DeSantis. I am so tired of it that I am not sure I can hold my nose and vote for him a third time, but hey that's OK right because Trumps most ardent supporters on the board have said that that's what they will do if DeSantis is the nominee(might be tough since so far he isn't running) and then there are his ideas like Freedom Cities **nononono*

??? When you have proof to substantiate your assumptions and accusations, please post.

One of the fundamental reasons that I do not trust Trump is because he backpedals, he selects RINO's and right now he has completely bad mouthed and trashed a very good conservative governor without provocation.  It's merely that he's threatened and jealous.  The conservative movement needs conservatives; not someone who sides with RINO's and attacks conservatives.

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

“Neocon” voting record?  Do explain, with examples.  And if he had such a spotty voting record, why did Trump endorse him in 2018?

Yet you excuse Trump, one of the most prolific liars ever to hold the position of President.  Interesting.

Perhaps if Trump slithers his way to the GOP nomination, DeSantis could consider a third-party option.

Trump could only wish to have such a solid record.  Quite a few vetoes out there from Gov. DeSantis!

I like that first entry about DeSantis voting down amnesty for the “dreamers” in 2018, remembering Trump offered amnesty to the dems in exchange for their support of the border wall.  Apparently Trump was unaware of the dems’ treachery as a result of the Simpson-Mazzoli Act of 1986.

@Maj. Bill Martin that would be a NO. happy77

@mrpotatohead

That's it,blame the reporter when you read something you don't like.

Will this make you like and support Cruz less? Since it seems to make you angry,my  guess is "Yes,it will."

So, pro-Trumpers… while you rail on about imaginary RINO Congressional votes by DeSantis, perhaps you’re willing to step up and defend Trump’s desire to ban AR-15s:

You first:. Defend Gov DeSantis refusing to repeal red flag laws in "the free state of Florida" because "they work".

The same red flag laws Trump supported throughout his administration?

Here’s what DeSantis’ position is on the matter.  Typically, the government isn't policing or holding people accountable just for speech," he said. "It requires incitement, or to be a threat."

You do understand the word “threat,” do you not?  If someone threatened you or yours would you not want their ability to cap you in your sleep minimized?

On the 2nd Amendment as a whole, DeSantis wins, hands-down.

Now… back to the subject at hand.  I called you out.  Defend Trump’s support for an AR-15 ban.  We’ll wait.
