So Garland is going to announce a new Special Counsel for the documents found with Biden even through the circumstances couldn’t be more different from Trump just so he appears impartial but in actuality will add megatons of gasoline to the story, right?

There should be no double standard in our justice system. Attorney General Garland needs to appoint a special counsel to investigate President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents to ensure the independence of the investigation.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed a special counsel to oversee the investigation into the classified documents found at President Joe Biden’s office and home.

Garland named former United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Robert K. Hur.

Biden‘s legal team has found and turned over two different sets of classified documents found in Biden’s possession this week. Initially, documents were found in early November at Biden’s private office at the Biden Penn center and then later in the garage of his Delaware home.

This is all a big Kabuki theatre presentation designed to (a) find no actionable misconduct on the part of Biden or his senior advisors (one or more lower-level employees may have to take one for the team), and (b) to innoculate any subsequent prosecution of Trump for the Mar-a-Lago documents from accusations of political subterfuge because, after all, the DOJ went after Biden as well.

So, be prepared for some breathless reporting from the MSM - keep in mind, it's a subterfuge - followed by some tense moments of "investigation" by FBI and DOJ, followed ultimately by exoneration for Biden and his senior staff, and maybe one little scapegoat who pleads guilty, does a few months in Club Fed, and then mysteriously gets picked up by some Chinese-funded think tank for a lifetime appointment with sinecure.
