YouTube commentator Viva Frei has been locked out of his Twitter account for responding to a thread from Media Matters' Matt Gertz on the spread of a "conspiracy theory" surrounding the bizarre circumstances of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul, being attacked Friday morning.

In leftist circles, alleged attacker David DePape has been characterized as a far-right extremist, but local reports and neighbors tell a different story.

NBC Bay Area reporter Jaxon Van Derbeken said that neighbors described DePape's Berkeley, California residence as a "hippie collective." Outside the home are marijuana/LGBT pride flags and Black Lives Matter signs. One neighbor, Trish, described the alleged attacker as a "left-leaning nudist drug abuser.  ...

On the phone call with police, Pelosi referred to DePape as a "friend." The details emerging from the case, including a report from the Santa Monica Observer, have sparked rumors that DePape was more than just a random intruder or friend.  ...

The story sure changes fast, eh? Police were asked to conduct a well check until they weren't and arrived due to Pelosi's 911 call. Pelosi didn't know the guy but said his name was David and a family friend. Some third person opened the door for police until they didn't. Depape broke in through the glass door until he didn't but the police did. There were two hammers, then it was Pelosi's hammer until it was Depape's hammer. I tell you what reading all the changes in this friggin narrative is like trying to follow a Biden speech!

Just to get the media story straight, a nudist hippie that was part of a pro BLM commune walked in only underwear from Berkeley to the ultrarich neighborhood in San Francisco, entered Paul Pelosi's mansion while predator invisible cloaked to avoid security cameras...

...wrestled with Paul Pelosi while a mysterious 3rd man watched, Paul went to the bathroom, called 911, returned to wrestle the hippie nudist, the unnamed 3rd man let police in, and then the hippie hit Paul with a hammer, because he saw a Kevin McCarthy news conference a year ago
